Not sure if anyone else has posted this already - but made good reading for me - alongside a couple of other Watford Observer online articles http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9536830.In_depth_interview_with_Bassini/?ref=eb
Hi Leo - nice to see you back The most interesting part of that article for me is the comments section - am amazed at the number of people who continually seek to belittle someone with almost their every breath - all claiming to be 'in the know' but more than likely not knowing their arses from their elbows. Why can't they just let him alone to get on with the job which he has started?
Totally agree BB - I have been a big Baz sceptic but believe actions not words are what you judge people on and so far his actions have been moderate and sensible - I cant fault him. My early worry was his lack of money as he had been bankrupt but he has now let slip about the trust fund - and no doubt that is where all his and his family's money are residing so he could go bankrupt but not "lose everything" My take on him now is that he intends to build the stand and make Watford a club that will attract some really big investor in the future. If QPHa and Reading can do it so could we - whether in the long term it would be good is entirely another question.
Hi Lenny - great to see you back. Hope all is well for you.... What is interesting amongst a lot of information are some hard facts i.e. a deposit has been paid for the new pitch - well if we do not get a new pitch this summer we will know this was BS, if we get the new pitch, then Baz is a man of his word. Good to see you back Lenny - take care
Hey Leo. Its good to see you about. I hope all is good in your little corner of heaven. I will say the same thing i have said for a long time. So far he has stuck to his promises. He said we would get a new PA system, we have! We were promised a new screen, we have it! He said he would do the red lion, he has! He has also brought in a full time grounds keeping staff which is making a bit difference. The bonds are being paid off on time and the players sold were for good money. I am happy with the guy.
lovely to see you Leonardo *big hugs* As for Baz, i'd heard a lot of things from people who knew a lot about him, and none of them were good. It coloured my view to begin with, and though so far, only small things have taken place, he is still saying the right things, and if these big things come to fruition, i will eat my words...though there is still a long way to go, i'd like to think i have faith
This is what the East stand could look like. Im liking it a lot!!! It just makes the whole stadium look 100X's better please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
They have done in those. I guess its the VR end that will be concreted. Tbh i would rather none of them were.
Looks good. Now they have put nurses apartments on the SE and NW corners can they put seats in? With the SW corner already half developed it only leaves the NE corner to close when the East Stand is built....of course, we still need to fill the East Stand when it is rebuilt!!
Not the greatest thing I've ever read from Dyche. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9541391._I_knew_we_would_under_perform_/ I'm sure what he means to say is that occasionally an honest, hardworking team will have a poor day, and that it's all about learning what you can and ensuring these days are few and far between. What I'm reading doesn't quite send out that message though.
