Well I don't like those type of owners myself, Breezey but let's be honest they dug them out of a hole at the right time and bought the Club for a fraction of what it was worth. They are just Asian speculators who want the kudos of owning a Prem football Club (eventually). They must be gutted Fernandez is the first Malaysian to achieve it with QPR. (Think I'm right on that, not sure) That said, at least they are going about it the right way this time. Last season, when they had 8 Prem players on loan was just plain wrong imo, even if allowed by the rules. The Bellamy deal with Man City was obscene. I don't want them up with us full stop thank you very much. Makes me laugh the way the likes of Sparkey, Profit and the usual suspects used to openly mock the way we used to play now the world and his wife are praising us for playing the same way. Numpties the lot of 'em.
i'm shocked and appalled by some of the replies on this thread. only joking knackered i know the malaysians wouldnt be here in the first place if the sums didnt add up, the only way they will get a good return on their investment is through promotion, so i'd be delighted for them to get their return, they are not glazers who dont actually invest any money whilst profiting from the club, at least they have a bit of common sense and invest (bids for players this jan didnt come to fruition). as for who to get promoted, obviously i want us to be promoted, other than that i think the hammers are 'nailed' on promotion candidates () and i'd like to see middlesborough back in the big time even though they screwed us 3-0 at home last season...

The Malaysians could have invested a few million , taken a wind up order away , got some extra legs in Jan & possibly rose to the Premier a few seasons back . Did they try , no , they decided to put there foot on Cardiff's neck instead & make them a cheap buy . Great way to start a relationship
They've only been there 'a few seasons' Breezy. I'm not in the business of defending Cardiff's owners but I'm not sure where you're coming from. They tried to buy their way out last season and it backfired. Can't blame them for being more cautious this season. They still have a mountain of debt to service I should imagine. It's obvious that by naming that thread "Oops" you knew it wasn't for public posting. One wonders if you'd have done that if the message had been sent by DPJ and not me. Think we all know the answer.
