If the lads progress further in this competition, who should get first choice for tickets?

    Fans with high loyalty points

Fans with season tickets (not everyone goes to away games)

Fans with season tickets or purchase history

Bit of everything of the above including fans who have gone to earlier games even though they were on tv

    First come first served

Would like to here everyone's views as I remember plenty of "fans" getting tickets for previous cup finals that never went to games for years, until the final
Any ideas how we could make it fairer?

Go back to the old days where you had tokens from the programs when you went to the cup games. Fair enough you have to fork out for a program that you'll probably not even read but, it all goes to the club anyway.

Well Talc,I worked at a firm that used to print match day programmes, when we got to the Milk cup final we nearly lost the contract...someone was selling old programmes we had in stock in local pubs.....the culprit turned out to be a director (who supported nufc) plenty people got tokens who had never been to games...

Fair one not sure it would happen now mind think we've moved on a bit from 85. Still think it would be the fairest way as the ones who went to the cup games get first choice. Was talking to my mate yesterday and we worked on about 30,000 tickets for any Wembley appearance (semis or final) so the club will have to sort something soon. If I'm honest I reckon it'll be season ticket holders first with one ticket each then if any left general sale. Admittedly we still have a game to play and there is no guarantee of getting there but, the cogs should be on their way round now.

To me should be loyalty points first, season ticket holders, then those with a recent ticket history, all get 1 each. Hard for some of us to get to games with distance and shifts but I do manage to get to a few each year. Even if we got to wembely and I didn't have a ticket I'd be down Sunderland anyway.

See the stalkers are up early today must be the sunshine heating their respective rocks up they live under.
With you on getting to games froggy have missed far too many this season due to work and other commitments was lucky yesterday that we'd organised this weekend ages ago and the game fell right for us to get there.

todays attendence was shocking... but people cant afford to go to matchs anymore and lots of people cant afford to go to extra matchs aswell

i think it should go to season ticket holders then general sale

The 26,000 that went yesterday should get first choice, I couldn't believe that figure. I had an excuse for not attending because I am on the other side of the world at the moment but I will definitely be there for the 6th and further rounds if we get there.
Hope its not like 73' when people who had never been to a match in their lives had tickets and some genuine supporters couldn't get them, anyway definitely got the cup fever now.

Give the first tickets to people who have attended the most cup games so far.

It's a bit annoying for people like me though, I suppose that it's the fairest way to let regular live supporters and season ticket holders have first choice, but if you're like me and live across any stretch of water, you have to pick your games carefully, there's no point in spending £200+ to go and watch a 0-0 draw at Bolton!
