http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/story-15257069-detail/story.html? Get a couple of tokens (sorry - it means you actually have to buy a copy of the mail!) and get the Barmby Army Shirt half price for £20 Fair deal
http://www.thisishullandeastriding....-shirt-offer/story-15257069-detail/story.html Dare to dream and all that!
They would maybe have more joy in creating a sea of black and amber if wearing the shirts wasn't banned in most of the West Stand.
Just another scam to get rid of the hundreds of "Cash Converters" shirts hardly anybody bought because of who they are. First it was get on the biggest team photo ever, but you had to buy a shirt, now its Barmby Army......change the sponsor and all the shirts will sell..unless it's another bloody pawn brokers.
It might be another way of offloading the shirts, but reducing the price isn't really a scam is it. Does this also mean that with the vouchers from the paper it's now cheaper to buy the limited edition Barmby Army shirt than it is to buy the normal one?
I might be wrong about what he's saying, but I've had a few people over the years say that the dress code requirements for it mean that replica shirts aren't included. They're alright to turn up in the smart clothes and have a replica shirt to change into while they're in the stands for the game, but if you've gone to the trouble of paying the extra cash and are doing the hospitality thing are you going to be in the mood to carry round a bag with your replica shirt in it? EDIT: It's not when you get a box for the game I'm talking about, it's one of those Premier Club type things.
What shirt is it that they're flogging? I read that whole article and there is no actual explanation. I'm aware of the 'Barmby Army' t-shirt range they brought out after his appointment went down so well with the fans away at Derby, but this seems to be an actual replica shirt. If it's a replica shirt, how is it a 'barmby army' one?
I think the picture on this article is the extent of it: http://www.hullcityafc.net/page/NewsDetail/0,,10338~2606857,00.html
Sounds a good deal to me - got my two hdm tokens and have a crimbo £15 token so a new shirt will cost me just a fiver - don't give a fook about cash converters being the sponsor.
Buying two Hull Daily Fails is more embarrasing than wearing my club shirt with cash converters on it.
Barmby Army home shirts are now sold out! However, the shop offered me a half price normal home shirt or goalie shirt instead which is all I wanted anyway
Yep went for mine at lunchtime - disappointed all the Barmby Army ones were sold out but happy to get a normal one for half price.
It's also the half term sale this week with discounts on many items from the club shop apparently (I haven't looked at what is/isn't in the sale though)
Only 1,000 shirts made,a mixture of adults and kids sizes, went in shop at 11:00 am today only kids sizes left, got a 'normal' shirt for £20 plus tokens....was disappointed The Fail should have clearly stated that there was only a limited supply.......typical hull daily fail hype!!!!!
