Makes no difference to me that two of them were corners. Assists are assists. And besides, it's not just just anyone can take corners - look at us last season. Harding, Lambert, Lallana, Guly, Morgan and Holmes all took them at some point during the season, all to little avail. Our corner taking was truely dreadful before Fox came in.
Do Prado 10 goals, 7 assists. He works great with Richardson in that role. Who exactly would be a better option Einstein? Chaplow is completely off the pace at the moment and Puncheon has 0 goals 0 assists. What you going to do play De Ridder there who also has no end product? LOLOLOL. U amaze me and I will add are a ****ing idiot.
Ummmm, Harding will only give Guly a run for his money when Guly turns up for a match so drunk he thinks SMS is Fratton Park
That is unfair to compare puncheon as he has only started 2 games in the FL for us this year. How many of guly's goals came when he was upfront.
This is a bit of a pointless discussion based around differing opinions. We won 4-0 chaps. Pour a beer, relax and enjoy the feeling of being top again.
Ok saying ahrding might have been a bit to far but i much prefer De ridder, puncheon or chaplow on the right over guly. De ridder might not have that final product yet but that will only come with time and he will scare defences with his pace and power. puncheon is only going to get better the more game time he gets. and chaplow just needs to get his match fitness back.
OK then we'll go by career stats. Puncheon has 3 goals in 37 games. Chaplow this season 0 goals, 3 assists. De Ridder is absolute garbage at passing (* and so is his shooting. To be blunt he is a headless chicken with speed, not good enough). But sure go ahead and don't play Guly who is by far and away our best creative and goal scoring option from midfield at RM. You know nothing about football. Bye.
How many games has guly scored goals in? How many of those goals where at home? How many while playing up front? Puncheon hasn't played much under nigel how many players have improved under nigels control?
Guly on the right all day long. Think NA thinks the same, so I know the game inside and out. ;-) I personally think Harding was told to play further up from other 3 defenders. There is no way NA wouldn't have been yelling at him if it wasn't part of the plan. We played like that until we scored the he dropped back into a four. I think you underestimate the clever bastard that is Adkins.
Before I read this thread I had no real opinion on your but the way you've argued with 60% logic and 40% just insults and stubbornness has really annoyed me and you have come across as something of a penis. Felt you ought to know.
On our team and their critics, I don't care I love 'em all at the moment, I refuse to criticise until we lose another match.
Fair comment on Butterfield didnt know he was still injured. As for the loathing against Harding , not the case were I come from he was one of best players last season. I think he is a good attacking left back but I just feel that at this level he is being found out when defending. There is not doubt for me that he can be put a better ball in to the box than Fox can and he does take a good free kick but defending at this level is a bit beyond him. He got roasted last time out right back and yesterday.... yes he may have put a good shift but he is no right back and against a better team we would have been punished for it as positioning at times was truly awful. I am afraid I am bit old school right players in there right position and if that means putting a youngster like Stephens in which somebody else suggested so be it at least that player knows how to play the position.
- it's brilliant that we are strong enough to carry anyone having an off day - we won 4-0 - we are the saints - we're top of the leaugue - who's laughing now? - end of, surely!
In 8 days, we won 7/9 points, scored 8 goals and let in only 1 (and that was against the league leaders). If we ever went away, we're back.
