I disagree with most of this. He has bought a load of old tosh and persists with them. He won't bu8y men because it will hinder the progress of the kids who are mostly poor and the ones who are good leave because we are not competitive enough, so what ios the bloody point ?

  3. That's not reason, it's an opinion, which is fine.

Reason has to be linked to reality - one in which we are truly awful, and all but a minority have stopped believing in Wengers philosophy.

Banter aside ive always respected Wenger as a man and manager and ive even gone as far as saying on my own board that id love him to come to Spurs if HR ever left...i struggle to mock a man who transformed your club,it's culture and your trophy count...i just think alot of your fans are young and dont know how some projects can take a lifetime to build...

So being 4th right now makes up for all the disasters that's happened this season? And makes up for being trophyless again? Good God you are so annoying and are the exact epitome of everything that's wrong with this club, thank God most fans don't think like you.

Because Chelsea, and Liverpool have been just as sh!t as we are. And don't count your chickens yet, we haven't sealed 4th spot yet, you have been wrong about EVERYTHING this season....said we're in the hunt for Europe, GONE. said we're in the hunt for FA Cup, GONE.

This is spot on. Sunderland showed desire and steel, we felt sorry for ourselves and lacked any form of leadership.

Who was rallying the players ? Not a single player went to OXO that I saw to console him after the own goal, that I saw.

diabolical and all comes from poor choices from the manager.

  11. We have played ok in a few games during a very easy run that got us in contention again.

But I would challenge you to list the games we played well in, to a standard that left you feeling great about the performance.

When was the last time you paid 20 million for a player you know is top class?

yet you can buy two. 10 million pound youngsters in the hope of making a profit when sold...

every club around you has spent top doller on proven quality and it shows,in recent years

United spent 30 mill on a 28 year old Berba
Spurs spent almost 20 mill on the best talent in Croatia
Chelsea drafted in Mata..a player your club could have had if they had offered 2 mill more
Liverpool..yes they screwed up but they werent afraid to spend 35 mill on a player
    City...where do we start.

He buys what he is told to buy and can only buy experience if it comes cheap.

He went off at HT and was carrying an ankle injury
    HTH was that his fault?

How about Van Persie? Or Fabainski? Or the other player that played?
Or do you just harbor hate aganist Ramsey

Its all about ambition and where we SHOULD be. We shopuld be battling for titles NOT battling for 4th aqnd out of every competition in February .. AGAIN ! We are Arsenal FC, one of the biggest clubs in the world. I will NEVER accept us going for 4th as an acceptable goal.

It's no secret that we've been hamstrung on transfers and as a result we've not been able to compete with City, Chelsea and Utd.

I don'[t want to go through a list of players because you are smart enough to know understand the following. Other teams in the league have spent money on players over the past 7 years who cost less than £20m who have done wonderfully well. 2 were on show today for Sunderland, that McLean chap is lauded by the Mackems and Sessegnon has had a wonderful season so far. Look at Demba Ba, free transfer from West Ham.

I'm saying there are plenty of good players out there better than what we have that we could've bought that are an improvement on what we have.

yes there are always good players to be found..i could say that for spurs aswell..thers alot of hidden gems..but alot of them are not calculated purchases but risks willingly taken.....however i think for both club and Wenger...they should go their separate ways because both need fresh ideas.

I think it was hard to judge your team on today's performance - I can't remember last time I saw a Sunderland team with so much appetite and energy.

But I think there was certainly enough to be concerned about for you. It is hard to read players attitudes with any accuracy from the terraces but the Arsenal body language looked terrible... after the first 15 minutes it seemed that their heads went down and the overriding impression was one of petulence. The kick up the arse from Wenger seems to have had the opposite effect and , apologies if I'm overstepping the line here, but I'd say that on today's showing it looks as if Wenger's lost the dressing room.

Fabianski?! He does fumble a lot, but today was a game in which he was not at fault.

  20. Ramsey was **** when he was on - as usual.

True the whole team was **** today as well, but Ramsey is the only one on cosistent form - **** form.
