Considering our home game with Reading is now on Fri 13th April and assuming Poopey are in the bottom three and (nearly) relegated by then wouldn't it be nice to go up on the 14th to Doncaster and be a DONCASTER fan for the day in their fight for survival. I also think it would be very fitting to buy and wear a Doncaster shirt and sing all game 'who the F*** is laughing now,! Just a wicked thought. Good one though

Maybe we should go to the home game v Millwall on the Tuesday before and cheer Pompey on to survival.

Oh dear... why would I go all the way to Doncaster, and sing that at them in a game of no interest to me. Oh my.

Chill out boys! I am of course being flippant and for those of you with short memories i am referring to the day we got relegated from the premier and the majority of poopey fans went up to WBA and brought WBA shirts and supported WBA for the day! All game they chanted 'were gonna send the scummers down'!
Of course i am not serious, i am just suggesting 'what goes around comes around'.
    You lot are no fun!

I would probably take a little more notice of the OP if the handle was Saintslover, rather than Skatehater. Just a thought.

I'm not a Pompey hater by any means, just a few things that I'd like to hear other more knowledgeable peoples opinions on. How have Pompey managed to get a loan player in? I assume West Brom are paying 100% of the wages. Also looking to bring in more players...
"I spoke to him (Birch) this morning and it was quite positive from my point of view because the first thing he said he'll be addressing first thing on Monday morning is to make sure I've got more players in the building,"

Surely they should be using their youth players and offloading the high earners, not bringing in free loans which surely isn't fair to the rest of the league.
I also appreciated Keith Hills comments which are exactly the angle that i would have taken:

Goals from Jim O'Brien and Matt Done secured Barnsley the points after Pompey's Dave Kitson was sent off and Tykes boss Hill insists Portsmouth's problems are self-inflicted.

When asked if had any sympathy for Portsmouth, Hill said: "None whatsoever, absolutely none. Because they've spent money they can't afford. They've recruited players at the beginning of the season knowing full well they were still in debt from the previous time they were still in administration.

"They've recruited players that I could not afford to recruit, and they are paying the type of wages that I could only dream about paying.

"So how can I have sympathy for any football club who is competitive against me in a league where I have got not the same rich rewards?

"They are spending money they haven't got, so why should I have sympathy. [Manager] Michael Appleton, yes, the players, yes, the supporters - but what they are doing, absolutely not whatsoever."

There's schadenfreude and then there's outright idiocy. I think it's far more important to save energy for cheering on our own team rather than wishing ill on others.

Absolutely, there is only so much dross you can put up with on the subject of the Blue Phew, isn't it enough to have them hogging the headlines through their self inflicted misfortunes, when the emphasis should be on the top of the table, or is it just because it's Saints and I cannot hear enough about them?
