I think lay offs were always inevitable, the administrators tried to play it down and say nothing was certain but I think it was obvious to everyone that people needed to go Motherwell getting 2nd wouldn't shock me at all, it's going to be near impossible for Ally McCoist to get a performance out of every single player for the rest of the season.
