They were awful against Sunderland but they did keep going. Today they are just leaving to each other to sort out.
I don't think Hoolahan should start next week. Surman has to come back in. I shuuder to think about the back four against Rooney and Co as well.
We'll be fine against Utd next week. Dont think we have two bad performances in a row in us. I do think it was a mistake leaving Holt out (unless of course it was an injury??). I honestly think with Holt on the pitch we'd have gone through today. I don't think half our players would have dared play that badly with Holt around.
neither ward nor barnett are up to standard...defence as a whole were atrocious...the one plus being that vaughan looked lively when he came on...
A truly awful performance here. Leicester fans must be scratching their heads when they see our league position. Well played Leicester- two good, deserved goals. You played well and looked like you wanted it. I can only apologise for our poor performance and promise you that we're not normally this bad.
Quarters for the Foxes! You put us under a lot of pressure at times but looked like you played well below your normal standard. At least you can concentrate on the PL now - keep up the good work there and finish above Liverpool!
Not brilliant was it? Well done to Leicester, but I am surprised we didn't put out a slightly stronger side, or play well at all. We're in a good position in the league, and none of the teams below us, with the possible exceptions of Swansea and Villa, would be expecting anything at home to Man United, so why didn't we put a stronger side out today, and just play United like we did Chelsea, and try and scrape a point? Still, I'm not going to question Lambert, we'll probably beat United 3-0 now.
Honestly let's look at this another angle: Ruddy (would have saved the 2nd goal) Naughton (would have kept the leicester players that terrorised R.Martin in his back-pocket till the cows came home) Surman (would have secured the LHS and given us balance and an assured, decisive presence going forward) Holt (would have scored Barnett's chances - this is obvious, because he would have taken Leicester apart, but alas we reside in the realm of the PL, not the 2nd-rate Championship) I make that 4 guaranteed first team rested for the Man Utd game. Match was lost when Wilbraham and Vaughan replaced Jackson and Morison, with a 2nd rate defence (R.Martin @ RB is a joke, when @ CB he is brilliant; Barnett still makes me nervous, and Drury is running his socks off), and a goalkeeper who was making his 2nd ever norwich appearance. Only Pilkington and Ward should be 1st team assured, the rest must respond. At the end of the day, Leicester will remain in the Championship, while Norwich enjoy another season in the Premier League. I know which position I would rather be!
In fairness, I could see that you were dangerous in attack. Might have been a different story if Holt played. But we never put a foot wrong at the back - in the Prem you rely on punishing mistakes. We didn't make any today.
Were on a win one, lose one streak atm, you just caught us on the wrong weekend thought Hoolahan had some great attacking play, some close long range efforts, only watched the last half hour though. GL for the rest of the season, although being 8th already, you wont need it
