    Now Kos is out too.

How did we ever get to be so jinxed in February or is there something else to it?

  2. Still think our training has something to do with it.

Mertesacker slipping on a cabbage patch of a pitch last week has certainly got something to do with our training <doh>

Don't agree with that sarcasm Cym- watching the incident he was not sliding/tripping on bad pitch.
    He somehow just pulled it.
Agree pitch was substandard - but we are not protesting?

Mertesacker said somewhere that he felt a sharp pain in his ankle... and immediately went down. This may or may not have something to do with the pitch which was by the way, as you know, terrible.

I get a sharp pain every time I see Wenger walk out of the tunnel.

the English Leagues are full of teams who once had great managers and success - but now barely survive.

All their supporters have is old memories.
I don't want that to be us in a few years.

  12. That remark by Geoffrey Howe in Parliament about Mrs T comes to mind again. Seems to me Wenger has to change quite a lot of the things that he does or doesn't do. Frankly I now say unequivocally - just change him!!!

We 'retire' players after 30 at Arsenal. Seems we need to retire Managers now too.

  14. I dont know the detail of his training methods, but if what you say is true then it would explain a lot. It does appear that our players are weak and injury prone - something ex players have commented on.

So then why are you blaming the training for M'sacker's injury

  20. We need to look at why it is we have so many injuries. They are not all down to bad playing surfaces or interceptions. Could it be that there is something we are doing that is weakening our players in some way? You should read Ammaar's post again. What have we got to lose by looking for answers? The problem lies in not looking for where our problems may lie.
