I didn't think that Levy and ENIC would be interested in selling up at the moment. Not sure it would make financial sense. Could this be the stadium sponsorship deal, instead?
Very good point. People have seen the two parties have meetings, put 2 and 2 together and perhaps they have got 5. The Anschutz Entertainment Group Stadium doesn't really fit though - plus it sounds dangerously close to Auschwitz, which is just putting abuse on our rivals' plates to use against us!
I've just looked up what AEG actually do and found out that they own and operate stadiums. This might just be Levy doing more research about the new stadium.
The Septics who took over The mickey Mousers were happy to spend their money, and did so. Unfortunately, for them, they had a certain Mr Comolli assisting them in their spending spree. As I said earlier, the yanks don't mind investing money but they expect results. Expect heads to roll at Klanfield if they finish the season no further forward, and with no financial return on investment.
