nothing i have is pertaining to the fact that I know. Well said and for the record I don't care if you're Catholic or not. I have never seen anyone here 'condoning' the killing of innocent people. You talk of things that happened hundreds of years ago? But it wasn't hundreds of years ago, it was in my lifetime. People on the outside always connect it to religion and I understand that, but it's much more complex than that.As for moving on, I think the younger generation has, I know my kids have.

Well surely openly supporting the IRA in my opinion gives support to the things they have done and what new arms of it continue to try and do. As to connecting it to religion thats because thats what is used to justify the hatred between two groups of people from the same place who happen to conform to two different branches of the same religion. As to the fact your kids do not harbour the same prejudices perhaps points that there is hope at some point in the future..
