Graham, in the future I would recommend that you observe the core Pompey support on this board. None of us have ever said we wanted SFC to go out of business and we all get on with the Saints fans. Not606 is nothing like the old BBC 606 - we actually have discussions that puts "rivelry" to one side. I think you have now realised that instead of coming on here tarring us with the same brush as you "work friends" was a mistake. I think you should also be careful of generalisation comments like "It just grates me a lot that most Pompey fans would love the boot to be on the other foot" - thats complete twaddle. Dont get me wrong, I am embarrassed at how my club has treated the general tax payer, how they have gotten away with being run into the ground and that is inexcusable - but if I, as a fan, could help 1 iota in sorting the mess out then I would - unfortunately, the fans ALWAYS come last when running a football club. I have said it before, and I will say it again. I am a Pompey fan first and a football fan second. I have no hatred for SFC, never have, I like the thought of the south coast sticking it to London/Manchester etc and having 2 successful clubs would be amazing. I think you just presumed too quickly that all us pompey fans are the same as your obvisouly moronic work "friends". As I have said above - my suspision is the FL are debating this issue as we type - they have admitted that Antonov got past their FPPT by lying to them - I think this admission speaks volumes. There has never been a case where a club has gone into admin where the FL have gone and admitted their own wrong-doing.......
Why don't we just take a deep breath and hold it for a while.........Lets give each other a bit of peace. Insulting one another about what has happened is not enhancing the debate. Nor is exchanging school boyish pleasantries. Let us at least keep this converstion on a bit more of an adult persuasion please!!
Don't want to see Pompey have this happen as not the fans fault. I think the best thing about this is that the HMRC have got their way and they have stopped the clown Andronikou becoming administrator again as he quite clearly does not seem to have the clubs best interests at heart. I hope that you guys come out the other side but this time hopefully it will be for the right reasons and not scetchy businessmen trying to protect their investments rather than doing what is best for the club
And so Admin Andy is not in charge this time. Is that a good thing for Pompey or not? Surely the same guy doing the job again would save some precious time?
There is nothing new for anyone to say even the expressions of concern have all been said. Lets just wait and see what happens for none of us can alter any of it one jot other than to offend and hurt people who are already hurting a great deal. Just for the decent Pompey guys who post on here I hope it all works out OK in the end and I am sure these new administrator guys will do a good job for your club.
BC and Portpin are the ones who keep wanting AA appointed - surely this in itself tells you all they are interested in is themselves and not the club. Now the court has appointed another Administrator it will be interesting to see how things go compared to the last Administration. BC must be sweating a bit now
