    This may have been brought up before, if so then sorry

    So, for you, what comes first? Would you rather see England lift the World Cup in 2014, or see Newcastle win the EPL/Champions League?
    For me, Newcastle comes first. I always try to watch Newcastle games, regardless of what competition, but when England are on (apart from the w.c.) I might check the score after 90 minutes at best. It might be because of the lack of Newcastle (and north-eastern in general) players in the squad, or the fact that Capello is a tool, but that's just what I feel.
    How about you?

    Newcastle. Until England splits back into the medieval kingdoms (or acknowledges the North) I won't care for the country.

    Haha well I'm glad you share the same opinion as me..
    I really should have asked this to a wider audience, would be interesting to see what a Man U/Chelsea fan thinks
    Do you think it's a north/south thing? I mean, I'm living down south and I think you do get more of an interest here, maybe because Newcastle is so geographically far from the capital (wembley, the fa etc.) it doesn't seem relevant? Am I right, or just talking ****e here? haha

    I think it's a vested interest thing to be honest...

    No N/E players in the team (Bent's on the edge) no vested interest!

    Newcastle all day long. Couldn't care less about the national side, 90% of the players are a bunch of vile tossers. I'd take a Newcastle League Cup win over England winning the World Cup. I don't even care about watching the England matches on TV. Can't wait for the Terry, Cole, Gerrard etc self loving possy to do one.

    Look at the Enland starting 11 and you have 6 of the main players in the wrong

    Cole = Cheating Tosser
    Rio = Missed Drug test
    Terry = Cheat
    Gerrard = Bully
    Rooney = Granny shagging, Cheat
    Carroll = GF beater (can include that now)

    Any others think Lampard did something. Yet the FA insist FC leaves out Barton

    I would choose success for Newcastle United first but there is no way I would condone slagging our English players.

    So many of you don't like Capello? Neither do I, but while he is the manager of the England team I will back him.
    I can't understand why so many of you are so bitter about England and the regular players - it's all a bit odd.

    We are ranked 6th in the world and I know that plenty of nations would love the luxury of being as '****' as we are!

    Its due to the northern teams having decent players that should be picked but ar overlooked in favour of players who have failed time and time again

    When you say "failed", do you mean in that they haven't won a trophy?

    Also, who do you mean specifically?
