At the time, sat in Wembley Stadium, who were we, as fans, to question where SG's money came from - at the time we had no reason to distrust him - we all thought he was "the new abramovich" - FA Cup, european standard squad and talk of a new £300m stadium on the way....... Im 33 and proud of my comments. You say work colleagues etc didnt wish us ill, the people you work with in the week can still be the idiots causing trouble and being thugs at weekends. Just like any other supporter. If you got what you actually deserved for once, your heads could be held a little higher.

Agreed, my fault for going on the site but I was using the live tweets from court thingy. The bottom line is luck has paid a huge part in SFC being reborn since administration, it could of been us in your position so easily. HOWEVER when CSI came in for you I did what most football fans would do which was google the names involved. This indicated to me at least there were people with "interesting" pasts involved. I even posted a link to the CSI site and said you should be very afraid. Just blaming the FL test is bollocks (we know they're crap) the info suggesting they could be another dodgy owner was out there. The problem is of course, would you now turn down yet another iffy owner if it means short term survival? Plan B would be my preferred choice. Remember it's not the despair that gets you, it's the bloody hope!
The fact that old twitchy had to meet SG on foreign soil because he was wanted in France for alleged gun running didn't seem to stop you chanting any louder either???

33 year old Graham - I think you need to do your research - from when has it EVER been the fans responsibilty to watch the finances and to do anything else in a football club other than turn up week in week out to watch? Are you unable to see the bigger picture here? Instead of blaming the fans for the clubs downfall - do your research and have a look at what has happened to us since SG took over. There is only one person being made to look a fool here.

You speak sense greenSaint. In my honest opinion - this is only the tip of the iceberg. With a new administrator now being appointed, hopefully us fans will get a transaprent look at what has actually happened in our beloved club. I personally would have prefered us to go down the Plan B route before this morning, as I could see that as being the only way of ridding the club of the parasites - but with the news of a new administrator coming in, I suspect (and secretly hope) that somehting is turned up that proves that we have been used for money laundering and the people responsible for the demis of the club can be held responsible in front of a court of law for fraud. I would feel more satusfied with a phoenix club which is untainted by parasites than a club limpingin along like a wounded animal.
Sure, the people I work with can be tits on the weekend just like anyone else but I fail to see why that would render their opinions during the week worthless.
You sort of prove my point. A pompey fan told me of the troubles with SG. So you were well aware of potential irregularities but still behaved like idiots. The fans just sweep the bad stuff under the carpet when things are going well.
