Seriously WTF? 3 defeats in the last 55 and he gets the boot! Comfortably in the play off spots and not far off the auto places. There has been a lot of talking between us all of Waddock and should or shouldn't he get the sack but surely this sacking has got to be one of the most ridiculous sackings in the last few years!
Didn't know he had gone I'm shocked by this but he has been there or there about's for the last few years. I think he has spent money as well. Maybe they don't think he can get them that extra bit to promotion But I agree very strange

seems bizarre to me, not to mention hideously unfair on the poor bloke. evidently the chairman didnt want the play-offs again so decided to get rid because he felt someone else could push them over the line better. if thats the case, surely this must lead the way for niel warnock, the man who's had more promotions than anyone else in the football league. thoughts?
Just incredible. I hope they don't get promotion now. Perhaps they have lined up Mad Mick McCarthy. Great manager at Championship level.
This is a ridiculous decision on the face of it. But then we do live in a world where Avram Grant took Chelsea to an FA Cup win and within a post width of a Champions League win and still got the sack. I agree with others on here though, theres prob more to it. How long before we get someone going 'get Waddock out - Lee Clark's available'!
