If they were to take away the 4th spot they would have to turn the competition back into the old format (pre 2004) with 24 or maybe even 16 teams which will never happen anyway.
Some refreshing support for Suarez from his captain in Uruguay. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11669/7526191/Lugano-lends-Suarez-support EDIT: meant Uruguayan president!
Isn't it gauged over five years...? A one year blip will not effect the number of places we have and certainly wouldn't effect us if we were to get fourth place this season. My concern would be more about Chelsea this year, can't see it happening but if they were to win the CL then only the top three (assuming Chelsea isn't one of them) would then qualify.
I just cannot see Chelsea winning the CL. If they win the CL then they'll probably make 4th anyway due to suddenly improving their form
no way will any english side win the cl for the next 3 years... period.. ferguson's hilarious statement that if they'd gotten out of the group they'd ge tto the final was hilarious... utd need to wake up and realise the first decent side they come up against will tonk them in europe. real, barca, bayern... etc etc etc will do that and to be frnak the myth of paul scholes is hilarious now. i heard them talking abuout if he'd not taken a "break" they'd have been top of the group etcetc

I've seen and heard a lot of Man Utd fans moan about Scholes' return. They love the player and are not complaining that he is back but they do not like the fact that he is their main midfielder again. They want a new younger man in the middle. The fact that the media make schole out to be the savour is a joke. IMO, he improves their side but that is purely down to injuries to Cleverley and Anderson who, in the first few weeks of the season, looked a good partnership in the middle. They were conceding goals but also scoring for fun, great to watch for a neutral mind. As for Scholes returning to the England...phuh!
It was a rare case but whats to say it couldn't happen again? Uefa obviously thought it could hence them changing the rules. Do I think it will happen with Chelsea? No!
i think watching utd and ajax last night that utd were piss poor in midfield and couldn't pass but ajax had nothing up top at all to worry about... regulation europa win there.. chelsea have as much hope as us of winning this years cl. again first decent side they come up against......
Some infor for Bozz-man http://tribalfootball.com/articles/americans-aeg-advanced-talks-450m-tottenham-takeover-2707731
Hey, now there's a thing! By the looks of this its very early days - remeber LFC had different discussions going on for months!. The price seems very high considering Spurs poor commercial results (comparatively) AND they (like us) need a new stadium.
