That's strange Mal i had rented a 26 ins myself to watch the match, great how technology has come on leaps and bounds since then, 42 ins the norm now.
 
I was in my girlfriend's flat in Jesmond. I was at Newcastle Uni and had a final exam on the Monday after the game and should have been studying. I blame Monty and Porterfield for getting a Desmond. Mind you the girlfriend had a great way of relieving the tension after the final whistle.
A cousin was the manager of the COOP in Silksworth but didn't bother to open the shop that day as he was in London. He was sacked on the Monday.
