Saints can improve their position greatly this coming week. None of the chasing pack have what could be gimmies and could drop points.

    Ipswich - Cardiff on Saturday
    Saints - Derby

    Tuesday
    Barnsley - Brum
    Millwall - Middlesbrough
    Blackpool - Hammers

    I confidently predict, us
    winning
on Saturday will enable us to gain on some of those mentioned.
    Weds sees Hull -
    Brighton
which is another game that could help us.

The tape is in sight...this is our chance to put a few points between us and third. Don't want this to go to the wire.

I think that we'll edge it but dont think Derby or any other team in this league are pushovers...would be nice if the results do go our way

I agree about Derby not being pushovers, but I'm completely confident that we'll win.

For me, and it's been the case ever since this horror run of fixtures began vs Brighton, the race to the finish line begins after the Derby game.

Not one to analyse other teams fixtures myself. It's simple Saints just need to win as many as possible from here on in. We've got ourselves into a great position, and it's ours to lose so keep picking maximum points and there's nothing the rest can do about it. Personally I think we'll finish in the play-offs.

And because we had our wobble with time to spare, I'm hopeful that there'll be a real sense of urgency against these teams that we should beat...we've learned full well that we cannot treat any game as a win before it's played.

The Derby game is the first I've been able to attend for a while (my next will be the last game of season) as the FL don't consult my work schedule when setting up fixtures. I want an early couple of goals to settle the nerves, please. I feel that we are turning a corner and will be more consistent than the following pack and open a gap again.
