Sadly, whether we want to admit it or not, in this day and age, most players are divas. They have been so pampered and spoiled they lose sight of what's really at stake, and I am referring to the big clubs. By tomorrow our players will recieve a nice big fat cheque, they've already left Milan today in their nice private rented plane with all out high class seats, they will arrive to be taken off by a 5-star coach with all the features you can wish for, then be taken to a top class hotel, and after it's all done they get back to their nice big homes etc. Now I'm not saying they don't hurt at all, but in perspective, when you have so much, as they do, it really doesn't hurt that badly.

And the latest tweet from Jack Wilshere proves it, and mind you, he is one of the real committed Arsenal players, look at his recent tweet:

Jack Wilshere @JackWilshere Reply Retweet Favorite · Open
    Furniture shopping again.......#LoveIT

Now life goes on, if you have to buy furniture, then you can't stop your life although I doubt most Arsenal fans would enjoy fking furniture shopping a day after they lose 4-0 to Milan...But, does he really need to fking tweet it a day after we get hammered so badly? At least act like you CARE, rather than fking tweeting about furniture shopping like a little girl, and please, WHAT MAN LOVES FURNITURE SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a sad fact my friends, these guys are not real men, fighters etc, they are divas. This is what we the fans get from our players. Nice.

THE PLAYERS. We the fans had to wait in the stadium for 40 more mins last night while the players were already having their nice hot showers, then we had to wait outside in the cold till the bus came to take us to the station while the players were probably in their luxury warm coach with meals being served back to their hotel. Then when we fans did arrive in Milan centre square, everywhere but one small cafe was open to serve us Arsenal fans, and it was past midnight by then, while the players were probably already tucking into their beds after having their nice meals.

Exactly my point. Someone who gets upset enough to write an article about Wilshere tweeting about his furniture shopping, sounds like a Diva to me <laugh>

and then the standing in the cold, then to only find ONE small cafe open !<diva>

Everything I said is still legit, one only has to visit the twitter pages of many modern footballers (including ours), these guys are more concerned with posting pics of themselves going out, or a new hair or clothe style, or picturing themselves with their toys (cards, mobiles, gadgets etc).

More concerned than getting the needed results, they don't care or feel the same as the fans, it's not even a day since Milan destroyed us and Wilshere's tweeting about how he loves furniture shopping? You kidding me? Our worst European defeat in history, and that's what he's tweeting out instead of feeling the pain?

You can keep trying to defend the players as much as you want, it's the results and performances that count at the end of the day, and yesterday's result AND performance showed that these players don't care with that gutless toothless pathetic performance they gave at the San Siro, a great example was Song's pathetic half hearted attempted block of Robinho's shot, he didn't even go full in, and then you had Walcott, and the list goes on.

The point is there are too many players in the squad who fall under the 'couldn't give a monkey's' category. Overpaid wasters who take no pride in wearing the shirt. Time to cut out the dross <ok>

I don't think that Wilshere tweeting about his furniture means that he doesn't care about the result last night. That's just a silly thing to say really.

I would agree that there are some players who are not good enough to be in our squad. But that's got nothing to do with twitter.

You are right, the players are pampered, but the Milan players were treated exactly the same and they won 4-0.

I'm no Wiltshere fan (obviously) but cut him some slack. Being injured and bored and having a lot of money he could be doing far worse things than buying furniture. he didn't travel and he is hardly likely to comment on the shortcomings of his team mates last night is he? Also football is his job. You wouldn't expect a plumber to come onto Twitter and start talking about U bends and stopcocks. They just talk nonsense like everybody else, (including footballers.)

As for your "treatment" as an away fan, it sounds on the good side of typical. No baton charges by over eager plod etc. That is all part of it as anybody who travels away knows.

Your club's problems are a lot deeper than a young lad with a lot of money or a meal on the coach on the way back to the hotel...

i didn't say he doesn't care full stop, i said these players don't care or hurt AS MUCH AS THE FANS, yes, they didn't like losing, but by a few hours it's all done and happy days again, no biggy, let's go horse riding the next day (like bendtner did after our 3-1 loss to Manu in the Semi-finals of Europe in 2009) or buy furniture and tweet how much we love it.

Wilshere has been playing for the club since he was 11 years old and gave every drop of effort last season. I think its safe to say he loves and cares about the club a lot. Last night would have been painful for him and he does not want to mention it. Best for him not to show how he really feels. He is not going to upset his team mates and manager.

Even more reason not to talk about it. He is not a fan he is a player and they (hopefully) solve the problems of last nights performance on the training field, or in the dressing room. The players who DID play should apologise to the fans, but they will never feel like we (the fans) do. If they did, how would they pick themselves up for the next game?

Nearly every one of our players was well below par last night, there are lots of reasons to be upset with what happened in Milan. By all means discuss why you're upset with players who didn't perform.

But having a dig at Wilshere, who didn't even play, for tweeting about his furniture is nothing more than a cheap shot.
