I don't get this relegation of referees malarkey. If he's not good enough to referee in the PL, he's not good enough to referee in any league. They should be sent for more training before refereeing in any division.
Exactly. You can understand why a referee might have to be fitter to referee, say, the Premier League than League Two. But this system is bizarre.
Id probably say its the same with all the long balls lower down the division but speed of play higher up the divisions Personally I think ex players should be encouraged to ref, but oh no if they want to ref after a professional playing career they have to start off at the bottom
He has sent off Gary Cahill and the Wolves lad Milijas and both were shown to be bad decisions. Cahills was cancelled but Milijas stood. FA said they did not want to undermine Atwell. Well looks like they have done. What an FA farce. Give him the England managers job ffs.

Scenario. You buy a car thinking it's going to serve you well and do the job nicely. After a short while it starts playing up and causing major problems, always in the garage with big faults. Not minor ones that are part and parcel of running a motor but major defects. You start to realise you may have been done and bought a dud after the fourth or fifth major nause up. What do you do? You throw good money after bad at the useless piece of **** until in the end you cut your losses and say enough is enough, this can't go on. You get rid. You wouldn't just scrap it would after spending all that money though would you? Oh no you'd try and palm it off to some mug who didn't know what a piece if cack it was. That's what has happened with Atwell, only we do know how cack he is. You cannot polish a turd and that is what Atwell is, a turd. If I got as much negative press and made as many clangers as he did the penny would have dropped that I was a **** ref. Not this comedian, he honestly hasn't realised. Saying that at least he hasn't given a goal that was actually two foot wide and that nobody claimed in the first place. Really looking forward to seeing more of him I am.
