    That's a shocker, thankfully freak injuries like this are exceptionally rare.

    Well as I suspected the Sun neglect to mention that the 'tackle' was not the cause of death. Living in Wessie Land I saw this on the news last night and it turns out the lad had a aneurysm which resulted in a severe hemorrhage. Its just a coincidence that this happened at the point of the tackle.

    Condolences go out to the family of the lad and the other player concerned.

    Yeah i'm in york and saw this on the news last night, very sad news and sounds like the lad had a future in the game. Puts things into perspective. Condolonces to all concerned.

    First read it on BBC. Terrible news, sounded like he had a future as well. Condolences to his family, Hepworth United and the other lad too
