i'd hope so, he's just bagged a goal for the reserves against west brom. I'd also like our second keeper Jed Steer to play. He's young but already looks top notch, the more experience we can give him the better he'll get.

Yep, and with the way games have been going for us this season (beating a side higher in the div followed by losing to a side well below us, repeat, repeat,...) a win is definitely a possibility. It's a funny old game as they say, especially the FAC.

    i noticed that,

against the bottom 9 teams youve got 9 points from a possible 33, but against the top 9 you've got 15 from 33 possible points.

I miss that about the championship a bit. Its a fantastically exciting and unpredictable league to be in.

Exciting it is, but it's killing me being a Foxes fan this year - one week of optimism followed by one of abject misery.
    Where's that bloody valium!

I'm off to the Man Utd board to tell them we've got a better team than them on paper and see what happens

Not trying to continue the argument, it's quite clear both sides of supporters don't really know each others teams too well- I just wanted to clarify something that is confusing for pundits and not your fault:

The Bennett referred to is our winger we signed from Brighton in the summer (who's been particularly good recently and was a key part of our win against Swansea), not the defender we signed from Peterborough this transfer window who you're referring to (he's still on loan there and is one for the future, rather than one immediately for the first team). Having two Bennett's is going to cause endless trouble as pundits already have enough problems with Bennett and Barnett in the same team... We've also got goalkeepers called Ruddy and Rudd and two Martins (though one is at Palace on loan). I've now heard we're interested in signing some guy called Sturman to go with Surman!

Everyone talks about no-one knowing which team Lambert is going to pick, but I think it's got more to do with all our players being the same name!

Rob, I was referering to Ryan not Elliot hence the comparison to a CB!

I think the only reason we had 5 pages of bickering was down to Norwich fans being absolutely gobsmacked at some of the things Proud_Fox was coming out with! There was no way he was going to get away with saying Pearson is on a par with Lambert and that Leicester players are better than ours.....

    Oh right! my bad.

Well at least I shown how difficult it is for the Leicester fans to know who we're talking about when I'm getting confused about our own team!

It is confusing having players with the same surname!

As for Ryan Bennett, he is a top youngster and is going to easily be our best defender. I've seen him numerous times at posh and you can see he is destined for the top. I'm very glad we've got him ahead of others and cant wait to see him in a norwich shirt. Nothing wrong with signing defenders from posh, drury and martin have been immense for us.

I've heard no end of good from a few Peterborough supporting mates regarding Bennett.

Sounds like he'll be a class player when he's older.

The way I look it is - if a Peterborough player can get in the England U-21 squad and is captain of his team at such a young age, there must be something about him.<ok>

Yeah, but by no means do that make him a guaranteed good player.

Pilkington is a very good player IMHO.... watched the highlights of the Swansea game and believe that are attack can cause them problems - just need to compete in midfield an let Sol take care of Holt...

Of course it doesn't, but he has the potential to be. Ultimately, that's what clubs are paying for when they buy a young player. We have paid around £3m for a potentially good player.

Considering Pilkington had never played in the Championship before we bought him for a Premier League campaign, he has done so, so well.

As for Holt, well, when he's on his game, he can handle the very best of central defenders as he's proved this season, so we shall see if this Bamba guy really is that good.<ok>

But when you think of Peterborough, they have very good attacking players but they have sunday league defenders
