Morning...Snoddy laying the blame at the players feet - "There's not really anything to say, apart from that it's the players' fault. We as a team know we need to be better. "We can't sit around and blame anyone else. It's down to us, the players. We know exactly what to expect in the Championship. It's our second season here and we should know what to do. "There's enough talent here for us to go and win matches but it's down to getting the mindset right, the mental approach to the game. "You need a winning mentality and I don't think we've got it right now. That's what it takes to be up there at the top."
Morning Ristac, and Cosmic, Fair play to Snods, he has a point. Look at our defence now. With the exepction of O'Dea, surely Lonners, Smith, Lees, White and Pugh would walk straight into most Championship sides in the top half of the Championship
Morning Elland, morning everyone else. Quiet couple of days at home for me. Agree with you Elland. Maybe Tuesday being so bad was a wake up call to the players. We have the players. They just need to put in the required performance. Then all we would need is a Manager to fit everything together. Do all that & we'll make the play offs easily. Get a Manager who is as good at man management as Harry & auto is almost dooable.
It's the manager's job to get the players in the right frame of mind, there is a psychology to it that someone like Redfearn does not have the intelligence to achieve. I remember Old Red Nose when asked what his job was - "to get eleven players all playing to the best of their ability at the same time every week"
Local derby Saturday. Will we put them to the sword & will there be almost 30,000 at the game, or will we struggle to beat Donny in front of around 20,000?
Strong Character is needed to turn things around, they need to get full respect from the players, and hold his own with Bates
Afternoon, Looks as though Snoddy would be a good candidate for the mamagers job, at least he knows where the problem is.
Bates is lining up to hire Redfearn on a long term basis. Read the transcript from his latest interview, blaming the results on the players, saying it's their fault for not delivering. I mean, technically he's right, but he's so blatantly saying that to divert attention away from an incompetent manager that he's planning on hiring.
