with rangers now in administration, hearts on the rocks and a few other teams in the SPL on the brink, could the days of the SPL be numbered?

Im not a fan of the scottish league my self, i find it boring, the only teams ever having a chance of winning it is either Rangers or Celtic, even with a ten point deduction rangers will prob finish second, this will not because of rangers ability but it shows how poor the league is.

i would like to see other teams in with a chance like hearts, hibs, motherwell etc etc, this would make it more exciting, therefor more people would want to watch it them this would make the league be more attractive to tv advertising and tv coverage and would inject some money into the league.

    This

The only competetive league in europe, in that a number of teams have a chance of winning the title, is the Bundeslega, Spain is very competetive outside the top 2.

It's the same old story, new poster, wants to make his mark, writes a hilarious (he checked with his muckers) thread and then gets ripped apart.

I expect Rangers will "do a Leeds" and be reborn minus any debts: same name, same ground, same staff and players, different bank account.

IF they did disappear then I'm pretty certain celtic fans would soon get bored watching their team win the league by Christmas every season and stop going to games.

I agree too. We are dumb, but in all fairness, we're a shade less stupid than the English.

You only need to cast your mind back to last summer and the riots <doh>

England is the most dense country in Europe. <ok>
