I hope so. He did wonders for us a long long time ago - but we have been declining slowly and this season the decline has picked up pace.
You're squad has just got weaker and weaker. You've got a very average goalkeeper, a poor defence, no decent fullback cover, no top playmaker, one good striker and your only good winger is 18 years old. Wenger's replacement will have an awful lot of work to do to make you a side capable of winning things again.
There are so many average players in the squad . The board gambled on them getting lucky , it didnt pay off.
Since the invincibles we have just gone back back and back now we are fighting for fourth place maybe fifth or sixth. Rubbish players and bad management we are **** and we know we are.
As a Chelsea fan it was kind of hard to watch as a fellow English side was torn apart from a Milan side to be fair have been utter drivel against English sides in the past, I admit that Milans frontline and Nocerino in behnd were mesmerising tonight but its not only that Arenal have failed to replace top players its also other teams have increased the quality of their own teams Even the quality performers like Szcezsny, Vermaelen and Song were poor tonight, Van Persie was starved, Walcott has lost the hunger Chamberlain now posesses and Sagnas injury seems to have left him less steadier You had two full backs just bac from long lay offs starting and it showed as Ibra and Boateng attacked the gap between them and the centre backs Koscielny was playing magnificently till he went off and surprisingly you missed Merteackers experience and reading of the game Ramsey, Arteta and Rosicky werent up for this and Wilshere and Gervinho might have improved Milan began to leave gaps but by the time they did Walcott had been subbed so there was no pace till late in the game. And when all failed Abbiati made a quality save to deny Van Persie. Everything that could have went wrong for Arsenal did and I dont mean to cause offence but theres no way back for Arsenal, they need to get it together or come saturday Sunderland will finish the misery. Good luck for the rest of the season and sorry about tonight
this And on Saturday some sad **** ahd the nerve to say we wouldn't miss M'Sacker Well that's life We have to TRASH S'Land on Saturday to amend for this Good luck vs Napoli
I think had Merts played it would've been worse. Ibra, Robinho and Boateng would've made him trip over himself and fall, he is far too slow to be playing against quick players, it would've been embarrassing. Djourou is quick but Ibra left him standing for the penalty - Merts would've been in a different city altogether
Oh Yeah MAte Not Are you really telling me Metersacker would have donee a worse job than Djorou? He is quality he just needs time to adapt (people were saying the same about Kos last season)
So the sixteen clubs below us are worse than **** and have worse management and worse than rubbish players. Interesting.
Its all about expectation and relativity. Charlton are top of League 1. Thurrock are bottom of the conference South many many places below Charlton. Does that make Charlton a great side then?
excuse the invasion, but on the plus side you are a lot better than the journeyman team at stamford bridge
