Why are we making such a fuss over this? The outraged reaction is exactly what the fool who wrote this garbage wants. Just quietly remove the offending mail/thread without calling attention to it. He would soon stop if he thought no-one was interested in his poison.

Remember the "oxygen of publicity" quote from a while back?.....

Do we get an indication from Milan tonight that the Premier League is not the best league in the world?

Evening all. What an eventful night that was yesterday!! I still have the headache after all the shouting i did. I have also lost all ability to talk. Probably a good thing if you ask Pie, Barry and H lol.

One other thing i have to say is some of our fans are sad, pathetic and really annoy me!!! Apparently the stewards received a complaint about me using a whistle at the match!! Apparently its annoying. Im sorry, but if you want to sit in silence i suggest you **** off to the local library, im sure you will be right at home there!! I will speak to the Dave the disabled liaison steward and see what he says next time. <doh><steam>:headbang::emoticon-0183-swear<grr>

He may not hear you - someone persisted in annoying everyone with a whistle last night and broke his eardrums :)

Yorkie - In the past when we have ordered tickets late we have been able to pick them up at the ground before the game. They take them down on the team bus. We have done it at Swansea and Reading in the past..

    Were you the referee?

I find people with whistles to be difficult. Why do you not obtain an old football rattle. They do more noise and you can keep on for ever a whistle stops when you stop breathing.

I whole heartedly agree with you, if somebody was sitting near me blowing a whistle all the time it would drive me mad. There should only be one person allowed to have a wistle at a football match.

I can see you want to support the team Dan and I commend your enthusiasm but an ear piercing whistle is not the answer, think of those around you.:emoticon-0127-lipss<whistle>

Nah mate i wasnt the ref. But i could have done a better job lol and blew my whistle a lot less than Mr Webb blew his! I could try the rattle.

The funny thing is, its the 2nd game i have had it with me. Although i used it a lot more the first match which was a Saturday, therefore more people there, there were no complaints and the people around me have not said anything. However, i will speak to Dave and see what he says. I was going to see if i could get a drum, but then decided it was too expensive lol. I need to get something that will make some noise and liven up the public library that is the Vicarage road end.
