Rewind 15 seconds on both the third and fourth goal and you'll see Rosicky lose possesion on both occasions in dangerous positons that instantly released AC Milans counters. Perfectly avoidable, if TR did his job you didn't have to discuss luck/bad luck imo. Nothing to do with fortune though.
Agree, we were terrible tonight. We deserved to get beaten. I don't care what anyone says though, the way in which we conceded the goals were really - unfortunate. The Szczesny Kick, the offside, Vermaelen's slip and the dodgy pen - all really bad fortune. Even if we'd have been as bad as we were and not conceded the way we did, we could have come out of this at 2-0 or even 2-1 (if RVP's dodgy pen was given) as it is, we are finished in this comp now. To be honest though, our performance was utterly woeful and we can't really have any complaints about tonight.
I agree that we were the architects of our own downfall. But the way in which we conceded was really unfortunate.

Despite our **** performance, Milan did take me by surprise with the speed of their play. They have a class front 3 and Pato can only make the bench. Thiago Silva is a beast at the back and I think they can trouble Barca or Real. Will be interesting games should they meet.
First goal I agree was a terrible kick from Szczesny. The others were unfortunate in the way in which we conceded them. We were crap tonight though, I just thought with a bit of better fortune, we might have come away with at least a chance in the 2nd leg.
They looked really good tonight. We didn't do much to offer them any resistance and made it easy for them in the end. But I think Milan could give Barca and Real a test.
With slightly better finishing you could have been beaten even more badly. They took their foot off the gas at 3-0, too.

Sorry. Can't agree with you. If we were not so poor, we would not have conceded those goals in the first place. It was not unfortunate how we conceded, it was all down to how the team played. Maybe other than then pen (as I already stated). It wasn't unlucky, it was all the teams, and even more so Wenger's doing, that the performance was SO BAD and we conceded those goals. Stop trying to put it down to misfortune. You make your own luck in football, and we simply didn't deserve any.
I was more impressed by the way he left mascherano for dead even with a 2 metre head start. Only 22 as well.
We played terribly and got what we deserved in the end. The goals could have been prevented if we'd had played better. But that said, the manner in which we conceded was really unfortunate. Szczney's kick was terrible (his own doing) But Ibra was offside, the Vermaelen slip was really unlucky and the it wasn't a pen for me. There can't really be any excuses though, we were utterly woeful tonight.
