I've not been popular for the last year or even 2 among the 'faithful'.
I have pointed out many failings with what has gone on at our club, much of it I lay at Wenger's door.
You can talk about loyalty to very average squad players, you can talk about needing to pay off Stadium debt,
you can talk about the amazing 4th place or better year after year. All this is true and some shows the man to be a loyal and decent chap.

Sadly to maintain the quality of the side and continue to improve and go forward - you also have to be hard as nails when required.
Wenger continues with players and really poor performances, we play 1 style period, we have poor tactics, we pass, pass, pass.
We have little creativity, we don't deal with squad issues in the transfer windows.

This season is demonstrating many if not all of the problems I have with Wenger and his regime.
More and more fans are now prepared to put their hand up and voice similar. Sadly the man will stay another 2 seasons.

  2. He can not possibly stay at our club much longer. There is no way a manager can stay at a top club after those kind of performances - and they have been plentiful for years.

I want him gone too but will stirring up trouble against a group of fans who are hurting just as much going to lead to anything productive

  4. The more fans that want him gone the more chance there is that he will actually go. Dont forget the fans that have been correct for some time have been battered for their views.

a sense of perspective is required, things need to be reassessed at the end of the season, wenger is not operating at the same playing budget as rivals, whoever comes in, (if he goes) will know it will be an extremely difficult task to get arsenal competing with the barcelonas and man cities of this world <ok>

  6. To be honest we just need someone who can motivate and get the tactics right - i an desperate to see our team fight again. The current management are presiding over a complete mess.

Imagine he had the operating budget of the Filth, like Moorhino? Then he would have won a couple of things more recently and you lot w/ have been licking his bottom.

so tactics and motivation are the problem....not in my opinion.

man u are at the top of the league because they have the best players, they find rooney, nani, ferdinand, evra, vidic etc, then if bigger money is offered by rivals, they up their wages and keep their best players and add a few quality signings every year, if fergie had to sell rooney to man city because the club wouldnt offer half of what city could, they'd lose the player and wouldnt be as good, that is the truth, and that is why arsenal are falling short, if they still had nasri and fabregas they'd be higher in the table and would have at least matched milan...

  9. Imagine if we had won all our games for the last 10 years and won the quad each year. Wow that would have been brilliant.

Wenger has just said " i believe the players were very ambitious in this champions league. "

sorry , i didnt see any ambition to get out of the middle of the pitch.

still at least he hasnt blamed anything else but the players. , i guess thats a start.

  12. Perhaps he should learn to control his players and get them to play to a gameplan.

We have never had the same budget as the Man Us and Barcelonas but we were able to compete because we didn't have mediocrity like Walcott, Ramsey (at times), Diaby, Song and Arshavin. If Wenger bought men we wouldn't be where we are now. How many has he tried to persevere with ? Senderos, Djourou ? His track record with CBs is so hit and miss, I don't think he knows what he is doing defensively. Keepers anyone ???

  14. Bloody good point - how come we won three titles whilst having a stadium seating 22000 less!

    <laugh>

Look at the teams we won the league with and whether or not we had the highest operating budgets then <doh>

  16. I think Wenger gone would only solve part of the problem. The remainder of our woes lie with the likes of that egghead Gazidis and our majority shareholder. None of them seem to want to make available the funds that we need to buy those real men so instead we are stuck with the boys. I recall that egghead CEO saying around the start of this season when Wenger was under fire that " Arsenn " as he calls him was a different style of manager. That he came to the board wanting to understand their sustainable plan and for his part, he would keep the club in contention. So we need Wenger, that Egghead CEO and Silent Stan moved to as far away as is possible from the Emirates. Then retire Hill-Wood too, bring on Mr U perhaps and Mr Dein definitely and hopefully someone like Guus Hiddink.

  20. I have been saying it since 2008, and i have been vilified. Sometimes the truth hurts and even more so when you have attacked anyone who speaks it.
