Will a hammering for Arsenal be good news or bad news for our forthcoming cup-tie??Will Arsenal be more than up for it after a defeat,or what?I think we will now turn them over, and I have backed us to win.

They have been woeful, there's little belief in that team.

I honestly think the only reason we lost Sat was the replay plus extra time, and I'm confident of a win this time, even before watching this.

€30 on Milan as well, marvellous!

would have preferred a draw or a one goal defeat.

They are out of this now so will give it their all this Saturday.

Worst Arsenal squad since Wenger has been there

made Milan who will never win the champs league look like there world beaters

If we get at them early and grab a goal we can win it

I'm with BB nothing there to fear, get in amongst them and they are rattled.
Arteta looked a good player along side mediocre players at Everton but looks out of his depth at Arsenal.

Couldn't believe how slow they were to get up and support the attack, did they actually get the ball to VP first half?

I don't rate their keeper either.
Vermaellan sp* looks like he forgot how to play.

Still think we will win but still would have preferred another distraction for them. Will still be in that North stand on Saturday singing myself hoarse. Put Campbell in the middle again with Sess and go for it.

Bottom line is our best side is good enough to beat them, it does not really matter what happens tonight, its what we do Saturday. If we play like we can and to our potential we will win. Last Saturday we were a tired team because of the cup reply. This Saturday we should be fresh and hungry for it.

    Ha Way the lads.

imagian if we beat them...there whould be a collapse at arsenal and newcastle could move up into 5th and we may be responsible for the sacking of wenger

Steady lads, they are still a good side with good players and we are Sunderland not Milan. This will be a tough match and if we squeak it I'll be over the moon!

They are now as good as finished in the ECL, EPL form too inconsistent for possible European qualification. They won't go down without a fight - should be a cracking tie if both teams go out for a win first time.

I'm expecting a tough game on Saturday, and hopefully it will be their turn to feel tired with having played a midweek game which will torn the tie in our favour..

Forget how the gooners feel, what about us?

The squad know that last week we had the game won, we had their danger men in our pocket and they know better than anyone how knackered they were.

Thet know that no matter how much the gooners want to beat us their confidence will be fragile, so will MON.

I think we will see a full all out attack from the start to knock that confidence even further and expect a win.

Walcott and Oxo, only had a half each so still will be fresh on Saturday and will have to be marked carefully.
Usually after a bad defeat 'a wounded animal is dangerous' so I expect that the Arsenal will be well up for it the cup as it is now their only trophy they can go for.

Can we win course we can, but somehow we need Frazier up front, but if he does that who can take his place? I have suggested that Bridges can take Ricos place at LB and RICO goes on the RW. So who do we drop, probably Seb? Any other ideas?
