I'm looking to rent a few Ice Cream fans in Glasgow, only for one day, around the 25th March. I am also looking to order several thousand of these http://www.partytimedirect.co.uk/ice-cream-cone-costume---rasta-imposta-funny-fancy-dress-5488-p.asp Anyone available to do some part time work selling stuff on that date?
What's the chances of us sneaking one of these into Ibrox and blowing it up? http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/518236894/inflatable_ice_cream_for_advertising_decoration.html
Helicopter Sunday 2005 , you never paid your taxes that season , null and void by the time this all over , your losing all your bragging rights through all your cheating
They were skint on Helicopter Sunday as well, but they kept buying players. Walter went out of the Champions League to Kaunus and spent a fortune on players, with money the club didn't have. Take the titles off them.
HMRC raised no objection to the way people were using EBT's till 2010, then decided they weren't happy with it. Rangers were using them no differently to many other clubs. How are they expected to know that HMRC are going to move the goalposts and retrospectively charge them for HMRC's incompetence?
Sky this morning gave season by season information what Rangers won , most expensive signing but saved best for last tax you were not paying through ept , 5 years ago it all ranged from 6 million to 9 million last season was only 1.4 million . Why can't the Huns accept you've cheated , you've not paid your taxes but carried on buying players and been paying them illegally . If Olympic athletes can get medals taken off them , the spl have to the honourable thing and start taking titles away , cheats never prosper
I'm not trying to wum, and really I'm not in the know about corporate tax law - but if these things were judged to be perfectly legal then every club would have used them. I'm guessing there was no precedent for them being illegal, so some people took risks on using them until HMRC decided to set a precedent.
Again Harry, Rangers have paid all their tax bills up until this season. HMRC raised objections to the EBTs in 2010 and charged us retrospectively. Rangers have reasonably disputed this and we're waiting for the verdict of the tribunal. There is no decision on that yet, so no current bill to pay. There is therefore no 'tainted title' and you're talking out your arse as usual.
Where are you getting 2010 it's 2001 over 10 years that you've been paying players illegally , your pal Trevor keeps saying I speak sh£te , I proved myself correct 4/5 times right just in the last couple of weeks
Tarq, the reason HMRC did not look at Rangers EBTs until recently is because they did not have details of the contracts which Rangers players (and others) had signed at that time. Only when HMRC saw the EBTs included in the contracts did they know Rangers had broken the rules, they had been breaking the rules since day 1 when they started the EBTs. That's what I have read widely reported.
I'll do it slowly for you harry. I know English isn't your strong point. Did HMRC have a problem with EBTs in 2001? - No Did HMRC have a problem with EBTs in 2002? - No Did HMRC have a problem with EBTs in 2003? - No Did HMRC have a problem with EBTs in 2004? - No Did HMRC have a problem with EBTs in 2005? - No Did HMRC have a problem with EBTs in 2006? - No Did HMRC have a problem with EBTs in 2007? - No Did HMRC have a problem with EBTs in 2008? - No Did HMRC have a problem with EBTs in 2009? - No Did HMRC have a problem with EBTs in 2010? - Yes They then decided that companies were not using them as intended and decided to retrospectively charge them. What bit don't you understand?
