...that despite the rumours that are bound to fly about just now about Bartley going back to Arsenal etc under administration, that the Lafferty rumour has some truth to it? Apparently, and this is pure hearsay, Rangers need to pay Burnley an add-on when Lafferty has made 100 appearances. He's currently at 98 and the administrators won't be able to justify him playing two games from a cost perspective. Is this true, d'ye reckon?
I read Burnley as Bartley and had typed out 'WTF does Bartley get money if Laff plays 100 games' then I clicked on <Specsavers> When's the big streak of pish due back anyway? If it's after the Tax case the problem might disappear anyway.
I have heard a rumour that players whose contracts are almost at an end (Papac for example) will be released in the next day or so. May be ****e but just thought i'd mention it.
This from Rangers Rumours: 15 Feb 2012 11:54:48 Craig whyte away (home) to manaco nothing he can do now while the adminastrators run the club.He will be back when everything is sorted out to a debt free club then we will see the real craig whyte
Yeah heard that too One thats also been going around is that McRapey won't take a pay cut and is looking to leave.....NOW.....or as soon as his contracts breached
Neither had I. I was just interested in the Lafferty one because it sounds plausible and he'll be a genuine loss for any hope Rangers had for next season (or the remainder of this one - naebody's won nuthin' yet, mind)
The real Craig Whyte ran up a bill of £9.5 million in less than a year! I hope the "rumour" does happen, back into admin within a season
I get the feeling there's still a lot more to come out. The audited accounts are supposed to be out in the next couple of weeks. That should be a laugh.
