Danny Welbeck faces an international tug-of-war over his international future. We've done our best to appeal to him... http://www.rokerreport.com/2011/3/14/2049545/dear-mr-welbeck
Roker Report. Good letter cant argue with your sentiments but only time will tell. I like Danny even on loan but would love to get him signed up, as I said only time will tell.
If he wants to win something he should play for Ghana England as we have seen for years are a bunch of overrated overpayed players who fail to turn up at major tournaments.
roker in the report it said his choices are simple, very true. for club he should choose safc if he wants games, for country ghana no way. england he should choose and he should feel privelledged to play for them. think too many people are getting carried away with this ghana thing, what happens when they all go and the next batch may be nigerians, will it be time to adopt another nation. go on danny wellbeck safc and england the future is yours Q why do newcastle supporters have moustaches? A so they can look like their mothers
If he plays for Ghana and signs for us next season, either as a full signing or a loan, it will be another player we will lose when the ANC comes round next year. I guess that is another thing we will have to take into consideration.
true mate. we could be looking at 6 missing for the acn, if we sign or extend the loans of players we have now, then take in the injuries etc, scary
welbeck for england. and after capello goes, get a proper manager in, who does what's best for the team. ie not picking only the fashionable players, and then once that inevitably fails miserably, bowing to media pressure and picking a load of kids and unfashionable players for a friendly or two, because hey, it worked for germany (they've taken years building that team by the way, you spanner capello), and then once the next batch of qualifiers hits, return to the fashionable big name stars. a good international manager would be able to blood the likes of wilshere, welbeck, rodwell, henderson and integrate them into an evolving team. we haven't had a good international manager for over two decades. it's a ****ing disgrace. i'd like it to be an englishman, but honestly?? just someone good will do.
I love Welbeck, I love England. I'm as passionate as the next guy, but I'm really really at the end of my tether with the national team. There's been nothing to suggest a change of manager will change results/players/attitude in the team, and when a change of manager eventually happens, can The FA be trusted to appoint anyone other than a Yes man? Resounding no for me.
much as i'd like to argue with you, i can't. the fa have shown time and again that they are idiots with zero accountability and too much power, who will do whatever it takes to continue to line their pockets, and that means an england team full of photogenic tabloid darlings over a younger, hungry side who have a will to win. maybe if we get a new fa?? we need someone to set themselves on fire first, and then we can all go and occupy fa headquarters until they cave in to our demands.
wellbeck should choose england, same as ned has, if we manage to buy these two along with young jordan, once these knackers who play for england now decide they've had enough, we may have a decent chance of seeing some safc play for england, just hope the southern biased finishes and they get a better chance than skp was ever given
