He'd be better if he tried looking for the goal.

Is that zero chances other than the header cleared off the line? BBC report says we were good for a point i'm more inclined to take their word for it over that of some bitter brummie smarting from the fact that he's made ill informed idiotic comments about a team that's managed to take four easy points from such mighty opponents. Fingers crossed we get you in the play offs, easy passage to wembley again would be nice.

I'm afraid we don't lose at Wembley.

100% record at the new Wembley, not many teams can say that.

If by good for a point you mean didn't threaten at all whilst being lucky not to conced several I agree.

That clearance of the line came after a header by a blues player.

    Goalmouth scramble yes, chance? Hardly.

Curtis Davies on the other hand should have had a hat trick.

Why would I agree with someone who's admitted they don't know what they're talking about when the stats say we basically had the same chances you had? We know Koren either scores in the corner of the goal or has a shot off target. Given his return this season you have to count them as chances even when they're off target.

You've really not thought this approach through.

    Oh lord.

If you think a shot well wide from an unthreatening position is a chance then god help you.

Did you go to the match?

Hmmm, I'm pretty sure there's someone else with a 100% record at Wembley, if only I can remember who....

They said easy passage to Wembley, not that we'd play you at Wembley.

I agree though, there's not many teams can say that. I wonder where else you'd find a team with a 100% record at Wembley. <doh>

We can say that as we also have a 100% record at Wembley.

It's a threatening position when the player has scored 6 or 7 goals from that kind of position so far this season.

No I didn't go, but since you're the only person anywhere that thinks you should have hammered us it would appear that you didn't either.

You weren't at the game I guess. Neither keeper had to put themselves out too much tonight, the defences cancelled each other out. We won the first half on points easily, second half you had more chances but nothing we couldn't deal with. The chance of the game would have fallen to Fryatt had your No.4 not hauled him back, he was lucky the Ref saw it as a yellow and not a red.

So you didn't go, yet still know they were threatening positions?

    Remarkable.

I can't believe someone who didn't even go to the match is telling me I'm wrong.
Still, you get all sorts on the Internet.

There was a very similar incident a minute later when King had his legs clipped when running through.

If the ref had seen it it would have been a red.

Didn't realise Jack Hobbs had left us and signed for you! Strange that none of the reports so far are reporting the game as the one sided affair you're trying to suggest it was, seems the stats and reporters are conspiring to make you look a bit of a tit. Oh and you won't be getting to wembley if we get you in the play offs. Also we too have a 100% record at wembley.

I know Koren has scored 6 or 7 of his goals this season from outside the area up to about 40 yards out, so yes, if he's having a shot from anywhere in that area it's a threatening position. Not our fault your players all have to walk it into the net so you don't think it's threatening.

By the way, I've just seen another report:

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/match/2012/feb/14/birminghamcityfc-v-hullcity

So that's Sky and the Guardian both going with us having had 5 attempts at goal to your 6, bit of a disagreement between them about possession though.

Why are none of them saying you battered us though?

Were all those miscued shots by Koren?

If you have to resort to speculative efforts from miles out then you are obviously lucky to be where you are in the league.

Anyway, I'm not going to spend all night arguing with someone who wasn't even at the match.

It's been a pleasure conversing with you, but I'm off now.

    Ta ra!

Yeah, they're allowed to stop up later than normal. What is it with these midlands clubs that play in blue having fans that are convinced despite all reports saying it's an even game that they dominated and should have hammered people?
