Watch the video again. He doesn't make an attempt to even look at Evra let alone shake his hand, the coward

Yet when Ferdinand moves his hand, Suarez keeps his hand there for a moment and actually looks at Ferdinand puzzled.

He had zero intention of shaking his hand while Evra at least had his hand out and in the correct state of shaking another persons hand

Also did anybody notice at half time after Suarez booted the ball into the crowd as hard as he could (nice lad) when Valencia come up to say something to him and touched him on the shoulder, why did he pull his shirt round and pretend to wipe something off?

Because a bullet from the grassy knoll skimmed his shoulder on its way back to Dallas.

Well said BBF, I think what we can take from this is, despite what has been made of the non handshake, and how everyone has sided with Evra on this is the following:

throughout the game and immediately after, Suarez maintained a cool and controlled attitude in the face of trials and tribulations. Suarez may (Or may not) have been guilty of not shaking Evra's hand but he showed a whole lot more class. He did not reach and grab Evra by the arm because Evar didn't raise his hand in a shake gesture, nor did he retaliate in the heat of the game as Evra did when he took out Ferdy, intent on hitting and injuring Suarez (clearly visible and undisputable with video evidence to back this up and he certainly did not goad the fans in any way which could (to coin Fergies statement) have caused a riot.

Whatever people think of Suarez, he kept a calm attitude which I think did him proud. If he is guilty of one thing, it isnot shaking the hand of a man, few can truly have respect for and only time will tell what damage this will do to Evra, as the dust settles and the facts start to seap through. If Suarez can now keep his head downand show the skills needed to rise from the ashes of this sorry series of events, he will show what a great man he CAN be - I hope he takes the chance to do this!

    Mythical semantic lines

Representing your club/employer, wearing a club shirt, on a pitch, during a league game, on television

    is not the same as

In private, wearing you own clothes, being at home, whilst not being filmed.

The club has to answer to one scenario and not the other. Can you guess which one it is?

If there is one thing that comes out of this, it is how pleased Kenny, The Owners and Sponsors have been with Suarez behaviour and how much class he showed <applause>

I accept the argument that Suarez called Evra "Negrito" and did not mean it racially.

Indeed. Because as the Report decided, Suarez looked like he wanted to be Evra's best friend in that game <ok>

So what have we learned here?

Ferguson's words on Suarez were not hypocritical. No example was found of a player misleading/lying to Ferguson, acting against the wishes of the club and then remained at the club.

Suarez is not a racist, but used a common Uruguyan word for 'best friend' which was wrongly considered racist in its tone and intent.

A proportion of Liverpool fans know the truth on this matter. Some have murmured tones of unhappiness how the whole thing has unfolded and had the cheek to blame Suarez.

Evra, Ferguson and anyone connnected to Man United is wrong. The FA are owned by United and they influenced the Independent Panel and subsequent report, who weren't experts anyway.

The media at large; tv, radio, internet and every British newspaper are wrong.

The foreign media, noteably newspapers in Holland, Germany, France, Italy and the NY Times are also wrong.

The sponsors Standard Chartered are wrong to be worried about how this looks.

The owners do not need to worry about how LFC have handled this.

Dalglish, Suarez and Ian Ayre were wrong to apologise. Suarez offered his hand and Evra snubbed it. Duh.

    Gus Poyet is from Uruguay.

Apart from your first sentence you seem to have got the gist of it.

Phew, because for a second there I thought many of you were arguing blindly about something out of devotion to a football club.

PS) Feel free to provide an example that shows point 1 to be incorrect <ok>

Ach Jonesy! You spoilt it there: Tucker had pretty much 5 posts in a row in this thread without response, proving my argument yesterday that he was basically talking to himself now...it was starting to look nicely desperate.

And I accept that Evra went to the trouble to chase Suarez across the pitch to specifically say in Spanish "Your sister's **** whore" and call him a Sudaca was simply an exclaimation that every Frenchman says, along with "I was called a nigga ten times", "He said I was a fooking black five time" and "Yes Mr Goulding, I agree with you that now you mention it since we sat down and watched the cctv tapes together and studied Suarez's defence, he did indeed call me a negro er, seven times. Yes seven times. Do you ever watch YouTube? No? Well I would have mentioned it before but I DESPISE racism and the word nigga too....".

Wayne Rooney said he loved Utd and wanted to be there until his retirement.

Then a little while later he questions the clubs ambitions compared to his and slaps in a transfer request in.

And a tearful Fergie offers him a new improved contract including a huge payrise.

So Rooney misled/lied to Fergie and is still there laughing all the way to the bank.

No, Fergie told Schmeical to keep his mouth shut and deny everything during the Wright race-row, so I suppose you're right.

Nicely desperate? Nicely? How about unnicely desperate. (Is unnicely even a word?)

It's my fault. I was reply to the previous posts one at a time. I've been talking to myself since the start of this thread because no-one has come back and proved the point of the OP.

Page_Miss has made yet another attempt to provide insight but you're confusing contract discussions with bringing the club name into disrepute. But once again, as with the Stam/Ronaldo example, you have at least tried.

    Donga

Nice try. You are close. One of your lads on here 'St_John' reliably informed me that all charges were dropped for lack of evidence and Ian Wrights unwillingness to take part in the investigation.

    Stop moving the goalposts.

You said no player had lied to or misled Fergie and still remained at OT after doing so.
