I don't support Rangers or Celtic . My view is both teams are better off IF both clubs are strong.. If rangers are strong then Celtic have to be stronger. and the stronger Celtic are the better they will be in Europe .. As I say I don't support either team so it works both ways...

Trevor Santos, It is glaringly obvious by your bad tempered vile posting that the imminent demise of Rangers has really got to you.
I suggest you calm down and control yourself as you will have many more days worse than today.
Be a man, hold yur head up and take the medicine that is due to you and your club. You celebrated their illegal and tainted success
so you have to accept all that is due to Rangers now without going all nasty and raising your obnoxious notion of a *****phile ring,
which maybe something you yearn for but there is no link in your life time with any SPL club and a *****phile ring.

its true, rangers won 9 in a row against no realistic challenge and they enjoyed it

we will enjoy winning 20 in a row

rangers fans will still be there, its no like they are dying like their club, they will still be feeling the beel as we dominate scotland for eternity

Stop making up ****e. Do you think the fans of Dundee Utd, Motherwell, Aberdeen etc. are worried at the prospect of finishing in the top two and getting automatic qualification to European football?

Do you think the fans of those teams wont see an opportunity to challenge Celtic for the title just as they did to you back in the early 90s when Celtic were nearly bust and had no money?

You lot have just convinced yourself that the rest of Scottish football can't survive without you. It comes from 130 years of inbuilt arrogance and a general feeling of superiority (WATP) but the truth is Scottish football will carry on if you go out of business and, with a bit of tinkering, will probably flourish.

So if Rangers go out of business and start up as a new company will all the SPL clubs vote against them getting back into the SPL? If what you're saying is true then the SPL clubs won't need to think twice about letting Rangers back in

Maybe. Maybe, not. The comparison to the 9IAR eras doesn't really hold up. Different times, vastly different financial climates. Not so long ago the diddy teams fought against SPL reconstruction so they didn't lose OF revenue. Now they could lose half of it.

    But who knows.

We'll see. What would you be bringing to the table? A first XI with David Healy as your best player? As Chairman who's run your club into the ground and was described by a sheriff only last week as "wholly unreliable"?

The big pull of Celtic and Rangers to the wee clubs is our fans, they know that both Celtic and Rangers are likely to fill their allocation 2 times a season. For most of the wee clubs a game against the Old Firm is their biggest pay day of the year. With only Celtic they get 2 pay days a year, with Celtic AND Rangers they get 4 pay days a year

Do you think you're going to be a big pull when you turn up at their grounds with a bunch of kids and David Healy as your star man?

I'm not talking about Rangers being a big pull to fans of wee teams, I'm saying they're a big pull to the money men, that's why I think they'd vote us back into the SPL. Speaking of the wee teams fans though, I think they'd love to go along to watch their team play Rangers knowing there's a better chance than ever of them getting one over on Rangers if indeed Rangers are fielding weak teams. It may be a new club with new players but we still have all the same fans, we're not just going to disappear. We'll still get behind the club in the numbers that we do at the moment

I'd vote to let Rangers-new-co straight back into the SPL.

For weeks I look forward to Old Firm games, for the days leading up to them I think of hardly anything else. My missus see that these games are the only thing I truly get excited about any more.

We have enough stuff to beat Rangers fans over the head with for years (since we will now have the record number of Scottish titles and be able to sing "You'll Never Do 9 In A Row" once more) which will be much more fun than beating them out of existence.

I'm half in your camp on this one Mick..... but there is a wee voice in my head going "Die Rangers, die".......then another voice which is just laughing like a mental patient.

Pump them to Division 3 and let them earn their way back to the SPL with a clean slate. <ok>
