I could not disagree with you more on this Swords. I'm not going to get into a protracted debate, we're all entitled to our opinion, but I just want to make the following two simple points; a) Making a stand against rascist abuse is not being "a cry baby" b) The complaint received by the police was not made by Ferdinand in any case, it was made, (rightly in my view) by a member of the public.
My first sign things were going wrong was when it was made clear the Fulham away game was sold out. I proceeded to buy a £65 non-refundable ticket off of Seatwave only for the club to announce an hour later that they had secured 1000 more tickets (which were all available for much less may I add). My second sign was that I actually quite enjoyed myself despite losing 6-0 in said game. My third sign was having some kind of rancid hangover induced panic/claustrophobic attack on the Central line up to Liverpool street to catch the train to the Norwich away game, further exacerbated by a stray bag on the seat next to us which I thought was a bomb (turning out to be my friends rucksack) My fourth sign was making fun of Wayne Rooney’s hair transplant on the way to the Man U game only for him to score a header before I had a chance to mock him in person The fifth and worse sign was buying a ticket to the MK Dons away game believing it would be a jolly good day out (they actually had a really good pick‘n’mix stand outside the ground which kind of made up for it) And Many More!!! ***But seriously, although things haven’t quite gone as hoped this season I have for the most part thoroughly enjoyed it all, and as the drama/excitement continues I can only look back and feel sympathy for those we left behind in the Championship (well….actually, not really)
I can't see that anything has gone wrong this season at all ... We are still in the premiership and the better news is that I have been invited to have a cake fight in the bath tonight with the girlfriend, that may turn into guess the fruit. Oh and just yesterday I found the original first copy of the Bible ... which was nice
Spent the weekend buying valentines gifts for my epileptic girlfriend....nothing flashy I am here all week
Ditto DT! A few laughs in Oslo tonight too! Watching Barca is a bit of a show as well - football from another planet!
Nice one Odders Two men in a pub discussing Valentines Day. First man says "Bunch of flowers from the Service Station and she should be grateful. What you giving your missus"? Second man replies "I'm giving her one up the arse. Shes dyslexic and thinks its Vaseline Day"!
