Bit of a change of subject, but does anyone know how the loanees are doing at their respective clubs? I know Billy Knott is doing well at Wimbledon, he's scored one and been motm and is popular amongst their fans and I think has extended his deal.

Don't know much about the others, Noble has only had one start at Derby and has come of the bench once, Laing seems to be starting games, Egan hasn't made an appearance for a while and I've not heard anything about Cook at Carlisle.

    Any news appreciated.

Nigel Clough says Derby are planning to hold talks with Sunderland in the next few days regarding their plans for Ryan Noble.

The promising forward returned to Pride Park for a second spell in January, but is due to see that agreement come to an end after the home date with Reading on Tuesday.

As things stand, the 20-year-old would then be expected to return to the Stadium of Light.

Clough, though, is keen to keep Noble with the Rams and is hoping discussions with his parent club will produce a positive outcome.

    Options

"We are going to have a chat with both Ryan and Sunderland in the next day or so and see where the land lies," Clough told his club's official website.

"It is important to know what Ryan is thinking and Sunderland control the situation because he is their player. They have a few injuries up front at the moment so they may want him back up there, we will have to wait and see.

"We would like to keep him around the place if we can as you can't have enough strikers and options to call upon."

Since returning for a second temporary spell with Derby, Noble has made one start and a further appearance from the bench for Clough's side.

AFC Wimbledon have extended the loans of Billy Knott and George Moncur for another month.
The youngsters have been in impressive form since their switch to Kingsmeadow in January, which has seen the Dons turn around their alarming dip in form.
Sunderland winger Knott has made four appearances for Wimbledon, scoring one goal, while West Ham midfielder Moncur has also been an ever-present in the side.
And boss Terry Brown is delighted to keep the talented teenagers at the club.
He said: “The boys have given everyone a lift since they came in so it's great to be able to extend their deals.
“Both West Ham and Sunderland were happy for them to stay on as they want to see their young lads out playing games.”

Generally on safc.com a day or two after the games they give a report on how our loan players got on with their various clubs.

Someone on here a few weeks back before the loan said he's got an attitude problem with hard work at training?

If so I don't think it'd go down well with MoN

Laing has extended his loan deal until end of the season at Wycombe, so he must be doing something right.

I heard he's coming back to Sunderland he wants more playing time.

Anyone know if the loan window is still open? We should send him to league one to play week in week out.

Was due to go to Dagenham on Saturday, and was looking forward to running an eye over Blair Adams playing for Northampton. Alas, ice stopped play. :(
