Either he stays and we have a great player OR He leaves and we have a huge transfer fee AND the pressure to sign a replacement big name 'Oh no!'
The owners are allegedly coming over today according to some unreliable sources in the media to sort out this weeks "issues". It wouldn't suprise me if he's offloaded in the summer as I feel something has to give. Can see him doing well in Italian football.

It would be very silly of us to let him go. As I have said before, if this was the 3rd time the club has condemned him then I would understand why we would get rid of him. But this is his first offence (that the club have publically condemned) and he apologised, therefore he still deserves his place at this club.
I think its probably true - Americans are funny about maintaining a squeeky reputation, despite their Judaeo-Christian fundimentalist government's habits for getting involved in morally dubious wars against their former catspaw middleeastern countries in order to (delete to taste) obtain their petrochemical wealth/install a pseudo-democratic friendly government. They are looking after their global brand, and by extension, their investment in the club. It is odd that they've not gotten involved until a piss-all-importance handshake goes wrong...
True, also they are business men and after their biggest sponsor (Standard Chartered) has intervened then questions will be asked and action may be taken. I'm pretty sure most of us think that Suarez should be given a chance to prove himself but when a player has a history of acts that have tarnished not only his reputation but the club's reputation then FSG may not want to risk that chance. They may even see as offloading Suarez as an opportunity of redemption for the Clubs image purely based on a financial insight such as our current sponsors and future sponsors.
...and if he plays a series of blinders for us between now and the end of the season, we should see a return on our investment. Real Madrid would welcome him with open arms - they are short of genuine striking talent - they're relying a lot on Ronaldo for their goals at the moment...
Give it up RHC, "Assured" "Kosher" "written in stone" are all phrases I've heard with a 1001 stories supposed to be true, coming from "reliable sources" within Anfield. And let's not forget the classic "Done deal"! As I said, I'll believe it when it happens. Same with this one, that the owners are coming over to sort the mess out???? WTF!?! Have they never heard of a telephone or email?? if they are coming over, they were probably due to come over anyway, it's the information age, you can do business from anywhere in the world. it is simply a time to circle the wagons and let the football do the talking, within days the press will move on to something new, shiny and interesting, and the great unwashed population will forget all about it. As they say, a week is a long time in politics, and since all this is down to politics, it will blow over in the same time period, if we just shut up about it. Suarez was the F.A. sacrificial lamb, and Evra was the reason for no handshake, and anyone who thinks a player should be dumped because of a media feeding frenzy needs to chill and grow a pair.
In general, I'd agree with you, but remember that we now have businessmen in charge, and they tend to look at the bottom line. So unless we make 4th, I'd expect them to take the attitude that Kenny will have to make some cuts, and they'll probably suggest a change that will benefit the bottom line and improve the clubs' image going forward. I don't expect them to enforce a sell-to-buy, but I can see them strongly hinting that a certain change is expected. You have to remember that, like it or not, football is a business to some, no matter what we'd like to think...
Yes very true St. But as we all know, the best way to ensure a healthy bottom line on the P&L Account is to achieve success ON the pitch. Weakening our efforts by offloading a key asset would not be a wise financial move.
Who knows what's been said behind closed doors on this- but if they get rid in order to appease the media and the anti-Liverpool brigade then they're just playing into their hands. I'm not one for conspiracy theories so I'm not going to suggest it's a plot, but think of all the other teams rubbing their hands with glee at the thought of us losing one of our most dangerous players. It was a handshake for god's sake, he hasn't killed anyone yet. They need to let the high emotions subside, and then make a calm,mature decision about what is best for the future of the club.

Look mate. I have nothing to gain by scaremongering. I happen to think that Suarez has had the rough end of the stick with all of this. I also don't want him to leave. I actually had a row with my mate when he gave me this information, saying it just couldn't be true. He vehemently asserted that it will happen. He is the Liverpool/Everton reporter for a daily newspaper - cue "they're the bastards responsible for this". However, I'm certain that he wouldn't give me disinformation. I certainly don't want to fall out with another Scouse Red and I'm not going to. I hope he's wrong, but he claims he's not. Only time will tell.
