I'll send a text 80295 All the regular members of the not606 sports forum are devastated at the news of the untimely death of Whitney. We are going through the process of collating all the rememberance articles as an online book of rememberance. Please tell all your listeners they are welcome to join us to share in our grief.
Look at all you ****s discussing the good and bad of Whitney freely. Yet I'm being moderated on a football board (guess which) for commenting on an RIP thread. It appears unless you want to say nice things about Whitney, it simply isn't allowed. What the **** is it doing on the football board anyway and once up there it is surely fair game to discuss it. I have now being PM'd by the offending mod telling me he has no choice because he has been instructed to employ zero tolerance by Mick and Syd due to the recent departure of 100 posters. What a crock of ****e.
No **** all On a brighter note all the callers/texts were in the main unsympathetic, ie; a drunken drug addict so ****ing what.
Aye, there was a distinct lack of mopeyness. The basic vibe was get it up them. Makes me proud to be a Scot.
Newcastle. Did you not realise I was a geordie Gambol, haha. Secret agent. Seriously though I didn't say anything that was particularly controversial. Simply said let's not have an outpouring of emotion for some crack fiend who has an 18 year old daughter who has never seen her mother sober. Once its put on the board I think all comments, positive negative or taking the piss should be allowed.
I accept that Saints, and I mainly do post on GC because there are many that are quite sensitive about such subjects on there. I stick to the board for football crack. But once you put the thread up, you have to expect all aspects of it will be discussed. Essentially the thread was on the wrong board, it should have been on GC. They must distrust GC for some reason..................... I think they need to add a board entitled Over Sensitive PC Types where you can create rememberance threads and kid yourself you knew whichever celebrity it is that has died, and remember only the good aspects of their life.
