Can i ask what talent have people seen? As i look at stats so far that he has not scored at professional level yet so far. For me he is not good enough for us this year, thats all i care about. We have him on loan, will he scores goals this season for us? I doubt it. Will he in future? Who knows. But we don't need someone for the future at this current time future goals don't win us promotion do they. Yes he may have potential and talent but that doesn't help us now if he isn't going to help us get promotion.
Genuine question, did Brown and Wood become regulars in the reserve team or where they signed from their youth setup?
Neither ever played for the Man United first team and they were 19/20 when we signed them, so presumably they'd been playing for the reserves, though Wood had been at Royal Antwerp before he came to us.
I haven't seen enough from him to suggest he warrants buying on a permanent, he might be a handful but he doesn't seem to get into games. He has pace, which is a great assett to have, but it looks like that's about it. Now, you don't get into Man U reserves, or a German Bundesliga team (who are 3rd) without having something about you so I won't write him off, but he certainly needs to improve if he is going to play a bigger part. At present, he doesn't look any better than Pusic, who actually looked like he had something about him.
He doesn't seem to get into games??????? Bristol City Sub on after 82 mins Doncaster Sub on after 68 mins Crawley started and subbed after 65 mins Reading Sub on after 86 mins So he's had a grand total of 99 minutes on the pitch plus injury time, hardly a reasonable opportunity to prove himself after not playing all season, I would say.
Plenty of time to show you can trap a ball at the very least, and you also forgot to add injury time. I'm not writing him off yet, but I think he's pretty rubbish and am not optimistic of his chances of making it. I have more faith in Paul McShane when he has the ball at his feet, says it all really.
But remember when Brady first arrived? He was used as a sub but he proved that he could make a difference to the team and won his place. It didn't take him long to break into our first team. Maybe King will improve, I hope for our and his sakes he does, he seems like he has potential, but he needs to crack on. I think the Championship may have come too soon and he should have started lower, perhaps gone back to Preston.
.........and you also forgot to add injury time. LOL! Sorry, add another 10 minutes then, far more convincing.
Still don't think that guy in the picture is Josh King ! Maybe the author of that article fluffed like The Fails columnists !
I agree with what you're saying but that's not true at all. Brady signed in pre-season and started every game til West Ham in November.
Which picture? King is in the team list for the game on the Man U website, and Josh King is the only King I can find on their squad lists.
Click on the op's link to the article and there's a pic of Josh. It didn't look like him to me so i thought there might be mistaken identity ! Never mind !
