Just when you have the son of a wanted international arms dealer, with the son having no obvious wealth of his own, suddenly putting tens of millions of pounds through Fratton... I don't know... it sort of sounds a wee bit fishy eh?

But then Hampshire plod have always been ****ing useless.

Just seen the dodgy Russian on South Today complaining about the FSA not letting his bank operate in the UK. Shame the Football league couldn't have been so diligent.

I'm guessing they went into administration in the 1970s, but I don't have a clue when else. Mind you, according to Alan Ball's autobiography, they were always in financial trouble.

    EDIT: 1998

December 1998 was the first admin, then 2010 and now which makes 3 times.

Thanks for the information.......although I thought they went into admin previous to 1998......I am truly speechless there is nothing of comfort I can say to my mates as well as all the other Pompey fans. I genuinly feel gutted for you.
However maybe it will be for the best in the long run and you will rebuild without all the crap you have hanging over you guys at the moment.........

Thing is they are only going into admin to stave of liquidation. HMRC can even go to court to try and denie it. Even if they go into admin they will be only be delaying what will truly happen.

Unless some how BC says **** the 17mil, i'll lower the asking price and I can't see that. They will probs be in admin again end of the season or worse liquidation.

Lampitt said on the radio loads of clubs looking for new owners, hmm anyone know where Pompey are in the queue?

He also says although Chainrai says he paid wages for January, it never happened, who would have thought it of him <doh>

Doubt it, and I don't see why they would. I doubt too many Pompey fans are going to shed a tear at knowing that some Saints fans out there don't feel sympathetic towards them.

    Heard Lampit say:

Debts will basically stay the same, just decreasing alittle.

10 mil CSI 17 mil BC (plus running costs etc)

UHY will be admin again(directors could have choosen a different one, but decided not to.)

Players can give 14days notice to leave but none have atm.

So ello admin andy again nice little packet your getting.

Pompeys hearing to go into admin will be on friday. They have to have a judge decide as they are already under a cva.

Isit just me or does it look like Chanrai is going to asset strip then **** off?

I find it hard to have sympathy for a club that owe 1.6 million to the tax man but spend 1.5 million on Huseklepp in August and 750K on Luke Varney in July. I think we would all like to not pay our taxes and spend them on something else but we can't.

Fair enough in your view, excuse me for not taking your stance on this, having been so close ourselves, I can appreciate what the decent fans are feeling, I don't give a toss for WUM's , quite frankly they are getting what they deserve, just don't fall into the same trap, by being disingenuous, as I said it ain't Saintly.
