Hopefully the snow will knob off now and that the frost covers get a bit of melt on.

Looks a smashing card. Could do with a mild week and weekend!

Meeting is rescheduled for Friday 17th February. Entry will be free.

All the big names are still on course so should be a cracking card still. Not quite sure about the precise card but should be good.

Woolcombe, you're not a council worker, are you?
You'll like this. One of my best friends works for the local council and is a board director at our golf club. He's also "ex army."
I put this story on our Golf Club notice board.....

An ex-army man went for a job at the local council, having been discharged from the forces.
The interviewer told him that the job was 8.00 am until 5.00pm- and then asked him if he had any disabilities.
The interviewee then told him he'd had his balls blown off by a roadside bomb in Iraq.
"Oh, you've got the job then- I'll see you at 10.00 o'clock on Monday."
As he was going out the door, the man said..." I thought you said we started at 8.00 o'clock?"
The manager replied.." You're all right; we scratch our balls for the first couple of hours- and you can't do that, can you?"
PS. My friend ripped it off the notice board the moment he saw it!

    Lol Zen!

I couldn't live with myself if I did that.

I'll be relying on a full commentary from you lot on here, so I can catch up in the evening :)

That's the spirit. You've got to turn the guilt feeling on its head.

Just think what a travesty it would be if you were working whilst all those high quality horses are running for their lives at Newbury, and you could watch it all for free.

    <laugh> I wish you'd stop it!

Just heard that C4 will be showing The Betfair Super Saturday Chase, The Denman Chase and the Betfair Hurdle.

Good on C4 for making room in their schedule for them :)

    Most Interesting Entry Award

3.35 Listed Bumper - Gevrey Chambertin :bandit:

Anybody else noticed that? No idea whether he runs or not but would certainly add interest.
