Its a shame that AC has had to speak out, but as one of the comments pointed out; AC was in his 30's when he played so was far more experienced and developed. Loachy is only 23 and as another poster pointed out, thats very young in terms of keepers and to have a keeper of his ability at that age is a rare thing. He is going to learn and grow, lets all remember how shocking David "Calamity" James was a few years back, and he was the International keeper! http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...=Feed: WatfordFC (Watford FC ... .. and it's almost a bigger shame that some of the morons use that article to continue spewing forth their idiotic comments. Wonder when they'll finally realise that their opinions actually count for nothing?
Not exactly news, but an article in the WO that shows up the problems of becoming a regular first team player. Although it is talking about PL teams the same thing applies when it comes to the Championship. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp..._s_story_is_a_familiar_one_for_young_players/
Its good to see some ambition!! Anything is possible, if we take points off the teams we have to play and that are above us we could close the gap quickly. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17012466?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
It's sad to see but looks like Portsmouth will be in Administration before the end of the week. That would put them currently 12 points behind us but with a game in hand after the standard 10 point deduction. I know their bank accounts have been frozen for sometime but I'm still surprised they didn't do more in the transfer window to reduce their debts.
Deeney a doubt for Leicester http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9528464.Deeney_a_doubt_for_Leicester/
I agree with Harrow that Forsyth is worth a shot up front. Then again, I said that about Martin Taylor earlier in the season.
i agree, Forsyth up front might be an idea..though i suspect it'll be Garner and CI...oh joy! Anyone think he can last 90 minutes?
Interesting how the players say that the crowd helped them zgainst Leicester. Hearing the Rasio leicester broadcast I couldn't help notice the noise and I was surprised at the low attendance.
At least Doyley knows that TV evidence will almost definitely clear him. Britt may or may not have that luxury. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9533430.Young_Watford_forward_has_debut_to_remember/
Wouldn't help if he did - he wasn't sent off for diving as the report says, he was yellow-carded for diving & it was his second of the match. I don't think you can appeal against yellow cards.
Sordell back on Watford bench. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/9533448.Sordell_back_at_Watford/

I saw this http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/16022...er-league-list.html?act=new-comment&res=ok#co and wondered where the journalistic standards had gone. Did Watford "score" an odd goal in that game?
