Freezing my bits off waiting for my daily train into London I was cheered to learn that my ticket and membership money was going to a good cause! Our weekend heroes are off to the sun for a few days 'training'! An obvious reward for all the hard work they've put in and managing to free up some time on FA cup weekend! What a ....ing joke!
Stupid post. They have been struggling to train on the frozen ground at Harlington and, even though things are now thawing out, the ground will be very wet and heavy. Makes complete sense to take them away to get some decent sessions in on a decent surface. Also, anything that helps all the new faces to gel together has to be welcomed too!
A change from the norm, break a bad run, team bonding, all been said already, a good thing in my eyes. I don't for one minute think MH will have them sat by the pool smoking a cigar and necking pina coladas!
I agree entirely with this from RTID. Training in freezing temperatures on a rock hard surface can't be easy or totally productive and the time away might help our new team to gel rather better than it has to date. My cheque is in the post.
Sorry but i do have a excuse; I was gang banged at the age of 12 by four german forestry workers and a passing lady boy ... my brain went to mush after that
