Gambol, it may not be as simple as you would like to think. After the case about the larger tax amount, lawyers for HMRC thought they could not lose. Rangers thought they could not win. So if it was just that they would have went into admin right away. More than likely Rangers had reached the point that they could not go any further. Mr Murray in his last years had bled the well empty and Whyte in his short time has ensured all possible has been used up and nothing to pay wages etc. Rangers have had to go into administration because it cannot pay their non tax bills and so the situation is even more serious than many had feared. Mr Whyte muttered that a couple of weeks ago but nobody acted on it. Things seem to be very bad , worse than most Rangers fans think.
