I'm loving all these Mackems bigging it up before they've played their cup game. Football has a funny way of slapping you round the chops. Particularly when you have Arsenal who have deservedly beaten you the week before.

Spurs were a cut above and we can ill afford to be shorn of 3 or 4 of our first team against that calibre of side. They're a class side and have some top top players. I still think they have a squeak at the league if Man U/Man C give an inch.

Fergie needs games. But Jonas having a two week rest for Wolves may offset his current tiredness. Not worried about Saturdays result, we just need to move on. The good thing with a week off and Tiote/Cabaye coming back in, is we should be raring to go come Wolves. Pardew needs to use this two weeks to get us ready to push hard for the next part of the season. Two winnable home games are followed by a tough trip to Arsenal. If we can go there flying from the two home wins (one a derby) who knows where it might lead.

I dont think it was a case of you being found out. IMO Pardew got it wrong and went for a very attacking formation by playing 2 up front. Not many teams will come to WHL and be that open, from the moment I saw the line up I thought we would have a comfortable evening.

I do think you badly missed Tiote and Cabaye as mentioned before, the players coming in for them couldnt handle the pace and movement of our midfield.

As already said by my fellow Spurs fans, I do wish you luck for the rest of the season and it would be wonderful to see you guys get 4th.

Very gracious of all you Spurs fans that have come on the board wishing us well for the rest of the season, many thanks.

Would have been much appreciated though if you'd told your guys before the game to take it easy on us.

To be fair I thought Tottenham exploited weaknesses that have been shown up in other games like when we lost at Fulham, Brighton and home to West Brom. A lot of times our full backs get caught out of position. Also good luck in your bid for the league title, always quite like Tottenham, can't stand either of the Manchester teams.

Nice way for Harry to sign off before he takes the England job.

Don't think its as certain as people think that Harry would take the England job for the following reasons.
    1. He has a great chance to achieve something special with Tottenham.
    2. Seems to feel as if he owes Tottenham a favour for standing by him throughout the corruption trial.
    3. No guarantee of succeeding if took the England job, as Redknapp pointed out Friday even people like Sir Bobby Robson have had problems managing England.

You forgot to mention he wouldn't be getting a percentage of transfer fees.

But if his salary is any where near what Crapello was earning then he wouldn't mind...
