How come any of you Jacks, have not mentioned the wonderful fact, that our own DANNY GRAHAM, is now in the top 10?

Like many at Swansea, I was very disappointed when Borini went in the way he did, without doubt a special talent, and had mixed feelings regarding Graham, when we signed him, yes he was one of the top scorers last season in the Championship, but his slow and patchy start to the Prem season continued my apprehension, on whether we had got the right replacement for Borini, don't get me wrong from the start I new Graham was good for 15 goals at this level, but what did concern me was his lack of clinical finish in front of goal, because for every goal he would score, there was alway two he would miss, and it did seem on times, that maybe the Prem was too much of a step up.

We know that it takes time to adjust to a new level, as we saw in Jason Scotland, when we first arrived in the Championship, and as Jason turned on his magic, second half of that season to silence the doubters, it now seems that Graham is doing the very same thing, he has started to look a lot sharper and relaxed in front of goal, and enjoying his game, which is very important, and as we all know confidence for strikers is critical. I'm so pleased for Danny Graham, to see him up there, on the chart with the likes of, Yakubu, Fletcher, Dzeko, and Dempsey, surely this must raise his confidence levels, and reassure him that he must be doing things right, yes he's still a raw talent at this level, but he's fast getting there, well done Danny boy! - DragonPhill (Just for you aswan).........

Is this your own work Dragon, or have you nicked it from someone else on another site :emoticon-0105-wink:

Shame he missed a bit of a sitter to make it 3-3.

    Now now, aswan. <devil>

    <laugh>

Well done to Danny. But it's a measure of Rodgers' ability to pick a player and keep giving him opportunities despite missing sitter after sitter. Wish he'd adopt the same policy with other players, but here's not the place to go on about that again.

Getting into the top ten is a fantastic achievement in his first Prem season. <applause>

Well, if he'd changed it to his beloved Comic Sans font/ larger size, he might have got away with it!

Did anyone click on the players names? There is no way that Danny Graham weights more than Grant Holt! Haha

I've got no problem with DpJ cutting and pasting stuff, but it is good manners and good practice to say where it originated. <ok>

Otherwise, people who don't know him very well (such as Norwich posters) will think he's a literary genius. [I'm thinking of his revamp of The Swan poem by some Russian poet] <laugh>

Quite often if I find an article that is a good read, I'll post it on here, with the authors name, though I have been known to omit, in error, but the fact that I have not given any other named source at the end of the article, should be the give away, though Aswan's comment is mostly down to his dry witty humour, in fairness to him! found the source yet aswan................. <laugh>

This is a special forum where there are no rumours allowed unless the poster is prepared to swear on the Bible, anything taken from press releases must be supplied with a link to validate and anything taken from a journo or author can only be used with permission from that journo or auther with a certain amount of royalties payed for content used <laugh>

Hmm.....I see spelling and grammar are favourites of yours MJ. <laugh>

Just kidding. Aswan is just pointing out Internet etiquette. Quite right too, but I admit it takes all sorts.

It's only good-natured banter between me and DPJ. I don't really care.

But if you spent 20 minutes writing something having researched it as well, would you not be a pissed off if you found it on another site with someone else claiming it as their own?

No, i would be chuffed tbh !! i dont see it as claiming it as his own just passing on info so people get to banter about it on the message board, im sure if a guy wrote something he would want as many people as possible to read it,on the old 606 they used to take peoples views and put them on their own websites, its a compliment init :)

Im not saying the fella dragon didnt write it mind,i just dont think it matters. <ok>
