Amazing isn't it? One clubs flop is another ones saviour after only 12 weeks away. As someone who was desperate to see the back of Bruce I can't blame Wolves fans if they thought it was right to sack Mick McCarthy but only they can say. My thoughts are that it should have been done before January, as we did, but a 5 1 derby defeat has a devastating effect on fans, regardless of whether its home or away. I think MM could have scraped enough points to see Wolves over the line This season but then again, I'm not having to watch it week in week out. My concern for wolves fans is Bruces terrible end of season statistics for Birmingam, Wigan and us. Would if be able to have any effect this late in the day. I think Bruce could be ok for Wolves, so long as they don't have too high expectations. Mon has get the benchmark for mid season revivals but as Mark Hughes is finding out now with QPR, it takes a very special man to do what Mon has done for us. Wolves will be favourites for the drop now imo.
I reckon he'd do alright at Wolves, at least till next season. When he first came to us he was a revelation, absolutely brilliant, as long as they don't make the same mistake as us and keep him on for too long I think he would be a good replacement for mic mac.
This isn't the first cak handed pail of utter ****e you've posted today chum. Note to self me thinks for you plum. Shut the **** up if you have **** all of any worth to say.
Hopefully Bruce gets the job and keeps Wolves up, after that though they'll discover how rubbish he really is. Which one of us had all them BOB badges? maybe he can sell them on Ebay to Wolves fans next season.
I think we will do a good job for them, but its a banker 3 points for the toon if he is in place for that match.
You never know know steve he took Birmingham there and stuffed them 5-0 fair enough it was a cup game but, still a good win.
Well my post was tongue firmly in cheek. But i do think he will do OK there. We had a 5 year plan, the supporters knew it, the chairman knew it and it was just too much pressure for him i believe. Wolves plan will be to stay up, and maybe mid table for the next few years, and i am pretty sure Bruce can handle that, the getting into Europe part of our plan, probably had him palpatating.
Be interesting to see if he'd take it. He must be in pieces after what happened here but keeping Wolves up isn't an impossible mission. Theyve got some decent players in Jarvis Ohara Bassong and goals if they get the right service from Doyle, Ebanks Blake and Fletcher
he is good at a wolves type job its taking the next step up.... though this year will be dicey when he hasnt got his own players
Leaking goals has been their problem and I think he will sort that out. They have a decent set of players and goals in Fletcher and Doyle...Can see a Bruce honeymoon period keeping them up. With a bit of luck we might see a £5 million bid for Elmo in the summer too.
I spotted him last week but was prepared to ignore & give the benefit of the doubt but looks to me like he/she is getting form
