There's a difference between "we can't dispute the referee's decision" and posting a picture of a ref in a Man Utd shirt. I agree that SAF and Utd in general complain about refs as much as anyone, and the comments about Atkinson were a bit out of order. But they don't then come out and claim other managers are getting beneficial decisions because they are whinging. Nor do they claim that they support the Respect campaign, two months after one of their players openly accused a ref of being bent and was charged with improper conduct. That's the sort of hypocrisy that just makes Dalglish look utterly stupid.
Dalglish seems to have conned almost the whole football world into thinking that he's this charismatic, canny genius. When really he's just a dour old bore, who bottles it whenever times get hard. Maybe his low, monotonous voice hypnotises the weak-minded
